I wouldn't like to be in the Kovalev's corner but also would hate to have JDJ in my corner.

Lol, all these clowns who swore Ward was going to get KO'd now find solace in blaming Jackson. So, they don't have to accept that they made the wrong call, because it was JDJ that caused it all, right??

Ward, a guy with some of the highest body punching output in the biz, a guy who's trainer has said you go to the body against Eastern Euros, couldn't have possibly devised that gameplan on his own, right??
Stop w/ this infantile thinking, people.

I do think that Jackson has been a complete prick in recent interviews, telling people to go for the body, talking about sparring incidents, etc. True scumbag move. Happy to see Kovalev is back on track though. I expect him to reestablish himself as #1 LHW again.

JDJ was definitely leaking info to Ward's team. What a scumbag traitor. I don't think any established boxer will want to train with this piece of **** from now on.

Why the hell should a trainer care so much whether a fighter is likeable or not? It's a job not a popularity contest. If Kovalev didn't want to work with him then he should just take the pay and be happy or leave him. What is the big deal? You don't see Abel Sanchez talking crap about Kovalev at every opportunity simply because he didn't get along with him.

why wouldn't you blame him? he told the other fighter what to do to his own fighter. even though ward didn't do it correctly and was hitting kovalev low over and over you could see he was trying to do what jackson said. we dont know if the ref was in on it yet but maybe ward just got "lucky" having an incompetent ref like weeks in there. although its not really luck if you've seen fights like garcia-matthysse . ward knew going low was a green light for him based on weeks past performances. weeks started off seeming competent warning ward for low blows but when ward was down in the fight and rounds 7-8 came along...punches that were once low were now ignored and "keep fighting" was his motto. craziest part is guys like ward have fans just cause they gain the system and cheat. yeah cong**** you were able to win in a completely rigged environment!

Fighter wins he did all on his own!
Fighter gets beat, it's the trainers fault!

                Heard this crap for ever.

If Don and Abel weren't going to be respected then Koval has a problem with learning, taking direction and busting his azz.
Don't forget this guy got famous by winning over a club fighter from Canada and a 121 year old Bernard........
He fought ok in the first Ward fight but he did dwindle when it came time to pour it on.
The second fight he QUIT! You can cry low blows all you want and there were some but you can hit the guy low back and take it to him.........he didn't, he punked out!!!
It was on TV in case you missed it hahahaha........

Koval is a good fighter he is NOT a great fighter, he is not a top twenty light heavy in history. No Way!

Lets see how he conducts himself over the next few years.

JDJ should just stfu, he's the one who came up with 2 losing strategies against Ward. If anything he's just advertising how shytty a trainer he is.

You're so confused, you don't even know where to direct your anger. First, they were ball punches. Next, it was body punches that won. Or, was it the ref?
                      Blame, blame, blame.

It was Ward being a better fighter than Kovalev.
No one needed to tell Ward to go to the body, he's done that his whole career and he found success in the last half of the first Kovalev fight. He picked up right where he left off. Ward's team also wasn't going to listen to the opposing trainer, you guys are ridiculous for believing that.

I like Kovalev. I think Jackson is being a real POS right now. But, you can't use this as a security blanket to comfort you after you were completely wrong about Ward v Kovalev. You guys talked all that shyt, were made to look like clowns. Live with it.
