I was in favor of Jackson speaking out about how he was treated, and I even think that looking for employment with someone else (even if it was Ward) was perfectly fair. But, what he's been doing in trying to sabotage the guy's future, telling everyone how weak his body was in training, that makes JDJ trash. You don't expect that your trainer is going to go to the media some day and expose all your weaknesses, tell stories about when you got hurt in training. What a betrayal of the trainer/fighter relationship.

Not only that, but he's showing that he's poison and can't be trusted.

            Blame, blame, blame.

It was Ward being a better fighter than Kovalev.
No one needed to tell Ward to go to the body, he's done that his whole career and he found success in the last half of the first Kovalev fight. He picked up right where he left off. Ward's team also wasn't going to listen to the opposing trainer, you guys are ridiculous for believing that.

I like Kovalev. I think Jackson is being a real POS right now. But, you can't use this as a security blanket to comfort you after you were completely wrong about Ward v Kovalev. You guys talked all that shyt, were made to look like clowns. Live with it.
Preach! It's really sad the straws people are grasping at.

comprehension problems rear their ugly head again. where did i say they were body punches that won???? where???? never ever said that. i said this "even though ward didn't do it correctly and was hitting kovalev low over and over you could see he was trying to do what jackson said." you somehow spin that into i said it was body punches that won??? makes no sense. stop making sh-it up! you are going to get called out every single time!

it was a combination of wards low blows and the ref missing them or ignoring them that won ward the fight. why wouldn't you blame the two culprits? oh im supposed to blame kovalev the guy being low blowed because he didnt react the proper way to being low blowed hmm thats not rational. i think ill blame the guy cheating and the guy letting one fighter cheat.

you still seem to think wards punches were legal...denial....a very very dangerous thing. i'll post this video again even though i can clearly tell this is a classic case of backfire effect. any evidence to the contrary just hardens your resolve. you are just too emotionally involved to rationally debate. here you can see the punches were clearly low and low by the refs own standards. so yes it should have been a dq, points taken, kovalev given a rest, not a ko, etc...but in your emotionally invested mind its "ward is better"

ward will never ever be better boxer. better cheater sure. better guy at rigging fight sure but boxer no. he was easily beaten in the first fight, and was down in the second when he got a gift stoppage. only fanboys pretend that ward is a better boxer because he cheated to win. cheating doesn't mean you are better at boxing. it means you are better at cheating.

go check my posts. i said ward would win the rematch in controversial fashion by upping the illegal tactics. i said that because i know how he fights. you still dont know how he fights even though you are his biggest fan...kinda weird.

Everyone, aside from extremist fanboys, realizes that Ward is a better fighter than Kovalev. If you want to pretend the sky is purple, don't expect me to engage in a serious conversation w/ you.

The result is set in stone and nothing will change it. If you don't acknowledge Kovalev mentally folding in that fight, I don't know what else to tell you. He was trying to sell legal body shots as low as early as the 4th round in hopes of detracting Ward from continuing breaking him down to the body but Weeks saw through it.

Hell, stitch Duran had an interview where he was in Kovalev's room when he was getting his hands wrapped and he complained to Weeks about Ward hurting him to the body when he goes in to smother. Duran said he laughed and went back and told Virgil and Ward and they knew they had him.

He folded and lost to a better fighter. No shame in that but there's shame and not handling defeat with honor.

He didn't say "listened to me". He said "listened". He was talking about Sergey Kovalev ignorning advice and doing his own thing. The more I hear I'm thinking this is six of one, half a dozen of the other.
