I have a true story about JDJ. I was at the lemieux/curtis stevens fight in verona NY ...Stevens got ICED KO'd brutally. After te fight I walk down to the casino and JDJ is walking around with his wife/girl, I thought this was extremely odd why he wasnt up at the hospital with his fighter that just got brutally knocked out to make sure hes good. Very sketchy IMO.

JDJ does make good points about how kovalev has been through 3 trainers and doesnt listen. Kovalev is a tiger. A solitary hunter. He fights alone.

Bottom line, too many coaches unable to handle the strong willed personalities of great fighters = bad for boxing

It seems almost every champ these days is a fairly humble and well spoken gent, which means a lot of the James Toney tiger types are falling through the cracks

Abel gets **** from everyone on this forum regardless of which fighters they root for. You should know how much he's despised by the general populace.
