I think he was just outclassed. You can't blame Kov this early for his selection, though, he needed to shed some of the ring rust. It wasn't as competitive as some people might have liked, but there were glimpses of a new more composed Kov. I honestly believe he was telling the truth about his new lifestyle change.

Wow... is this why War Mikey wanted to be a Mod? What do "blacks" have to do with two white euro fighters boxing?

Uh his weakness played into kovas strength

He has a jab asking to be countered and kova has an excellent counter right hand

He tried so hard not to go down again at end. To say he took a dive is ridiculous

He was just shìt. Easy pickings. Everyone needs a tune up after two devastating losses in succession. It's not like he will get far before bumping into a live dog again. Beterbiev has already beaten his ass in the amateurs and made Kovalev cry about the officiating way before Ward and now he's worked himself into a position to face him again. Then there's Barrera who is looking sharp again, Bivol looking like a LHW version of Golovkin with the smooth effortless power, then there's Gvozdyk also who is looking decent.

LHW shaping up well. Some good fights ahead.
