whats the point of trying to fight someone in 2016 when the wbc said the winner was going to be ordered to fight ggg in nov 2015??? the difference is ggg had a plan already laid out for his career. ward had been floating in space for 5 years turning down huge fights like froch, bute, and stevenson. even got kicked off of hbo for trying to fight so many bums. you seem to think ggg was obligated to fight ward and at the same time give him everything he wanted just cause he said 154-168 5 years previously. i dont think that meant ggg had to take any deal put in front of his face. oh you said 168 therefore you have to fight ont he b-sides terms. just dumb and you know it. ward didnt want to fight. he said he would fight at 160 yet you aren't getting on him about that. fighters use hyperbole all the time. you are taking it a bit too seriously.Comment

and ward said he would fight at 160. once again you are having selective criticism. you are using quotes from ggg that are 5 years old but wont use newer ward quotes?
did ward ever make ggg a realistic offer to fight? no he did not. so how can ggg be expected to fight him? cause you say so isnt a good reason. he is supposed to go out of his way to indulge ward the diva? a guy who was fighting on BET and expected a 50-50 split after having much less fans and being kicked off of hbo? just a waste of time. he has his own career plans and they involved fighting in a huge ppv fight against canelo, with grabbing all the belts as his backup. wards career plans were what exactly....it had been 4 years since he won the super six and he had dont nothing and had no direction in his career. thats why he got kicked off of hbo. they wanted to be in the ward business but he simply wouldnt make the fights. they let him back on if he agreed to fight kovalev and you saw how that back fired. 2 controversial fights that completely bombed and then he turns around and retires so there was no gain to be made.Last edited by daggum; 11-19-2017, 02:23 PM.Comment

what does any of that have to do with K2 and GGG wanting Ward at 164?whats the point of trying to fight someone in 2016 when the wbc said the winner was going to be ordered to fight ggg in nov 2015??? the difference is ggg had a plan already laid out for his career. ward had been floating in space for 5 years turning down huge fights like froch, bute, and stevenson. even got kicked off of hbo for trying to fight so many bums. you seem to think ggg was obligated to fight ward and at the same time give him everything he wanted just cause he said 154-168 5 years previously. i dont think that meant ggg had to take any deal put in front of his face. oh you said 168 therefore you have to fight ont he b-sides terms. just dumb and you know it. ward didnt want to fight. he said he would fight at 160 yet you aren't getting on him about that. fighters use hyperbole all the time. you are taking it a bit too seriously.
K2 and GGG never denied it! lol.
you do realize no headlines or articles insinuated your theories because K2 got punked by writers and not challenging Roc Nation that they wanted 164..
think about thatComment

i can see we have reached the point where we just repeat what we said over and over again so ill just post this again.what does any of that have to do with K2 and GGG wanting Ward at 164?

you're admitting blackmail from K2 or GGG that if they conceded to Roc's demands then they would have to make it at 164?
You keep on dismissing that K2, industry wrote, thaT GGG wanted 164.
you don't find that odd?Comment

This is pure bu!!shyte. When a ggg\Canelo fight came about, Ward had long since moved up to light heavy.ward didnt want to fight what could ggg do? just look at the offer. it was pure publicity and nothing more. just something he could say to use that lame lil g line when ward didnt offer to fight ggg right away. he wanted a tune up and for ggg to postpone the canelo fight. unbelievable.
When a ggg\Ward fight was a real possibility (not when Ward was injured, not when Ward was having managerial problems) team GGG (both Leoffler and Unable) insisted it could only happen at 164. They knew Ward would be lucky to make 168 and 164 would be impossible. Team GGG could act like they wanted a Ward fight without actually having to fight Ward. This after approving 168 for both Froch and Chavez Jr. After this, Ward moved up to light heavy to fight the #1 guy in the perceived killer Kovalev and GGG drug the #3 or 4 welterweight (Brook) up not one but two weight classes for a fight. So who was looking for tough fights and who wasn't?
What they said: we'll fight anyone from 154 to 168.
What they meant: we'll fight anyone from 154 to 168 as long as HBO approves, as long as we dictate all terms, as long as we get the lions share of the money and as long as your name isn't Andre Ward.Comment

golovkin just drew with a guy that lil floyd whitewashed...and that these clowns say lost to lara...lololol
all they can say is "ggg clearly won everyone knows that"
reminds me of when golovkin was fighting bum after bum after bum and everyone kept saying why doesnt he fight lara? it made sense...lara considered the best at 154..lara had headlined shows on premium and regular cable several times.....and all they would say "omg lara? why? he would kill him"...lol...such a joke

who ?
nah, that guy had to " prove " himself first LMAO
I cannot stand fans who rubbish a potential opponent, and then happily endorse someone WORSE..... like the tards did when Golovkin passed on Mora/Lara to fight someone WORSE
that is truly ******ed
that ground should be reserved for Golovkin's promoter, not his idiot fans lolComment

Nah man sometimes people know something is wrong but can't really articulate it so they end up expressing that feeling the wrong way, or what they wanted to say comes out all wrong.
For instance the Canelo thing. People weren't mad about the 155lb thing because of 'weight bullying', they were really mad about it because it allowed Canelo to avoid certain fighters by claiming 'I'm not a 154lber'.
Consequently, it also allowed him to avoid dangerous middleweights because "I'm not a 160lber"
Whoever you are, and whether you'll admit it or not, there is no way you can't tell that this is total garbage, at the very least you should be able to feel that something is wrong here even if you can't figure it out.
Also, Golovkin made it clear from the beginning that he would only go down in weight for Floyd Mayweather, so you can't call him out for that.
But even if he had said he would go down in weight for a junior middlweight, Canelo was no longer campaigning at junior middleweight, and in fact was a middleweight champion. There was absolutely no reason for Golovkin to go down for a fellow middleweight champion. There is no world where that made sense and there is no way anyone, Canelo fan or not, doesn't know exactly what Canelo was trying to do.
Then there is also the fact that Canelo promised the wbc that he would fight Golovkin next, that is the reason they allowed him to jump ahead of Golovkin and fight Cotto in the first place, it was the basis of that deal. But then Canelo turns around and asks for a tune up fight, the wbc which basically violates the prior agreement, but the wbc is lenient and allows him to do so, only for Alvarez to vacate and complain that the wbc was rushing him, despite the fact that he ONLY got the title shot in the first place on the premise that he would fight Golovkin, and despite that they were lenient enough to allow him a tune up when they didn't have to.
An unbiased person can easily tell you that Canelo was NEVER in the right in any of these conflicts. He was the reason the fight wasn't happening. He made the excuse that GGG was pricing himself out, however that was also irrelevant because all he had to do was wait for purse bid and he would have been guaranteed 75 percent as per wbc rules.
Canelo was a spioled cowardly brat throughout this whole saga, but you know, in my opinion, he totally took Golovkin to school in their fight.
In fact, if it wasn't for his stamina issues, he could have easily stopped Golovkin.
If you notice, Golovkin always moves forward even when he gets hit flush in the face, but he always either stops or moves back when there is a vicious attack to the body. It happened with Jacobs and it happened with Canelo too.
These guys just gotta keep on throwing. There is only so much pain you can take before it becomes too much to pretend you aint feeling nothing. The key is not to be discouraged and continue to throw.
Look at the Maidana v Floyd fight. Maidana kept coming forward but Floyd knew if he kept on throwing combinations and nailing Maidana on the body then eventually he would inevitably slow down. If he wasn't feather fisted he could have stopped Maidana given the good work he did in that fight.
Maidana did well too, but his shots weren't anywhere near as clean as Floyd's.
I do not believe that for 1 second
1) I never heard Canelo, or his fans, say any such a thing
2) who did he avoid at 154? please link me to where Canelo (or any of his team, because we hold grown men accountable for the words/actions of their official representatives, unlike golov-tards) used the excuse "I am not a JMW"
FACT: Canelo was obviously NOT a middleweight
FACT: AFTER that date, Golovkin flatly stated that he is willing and able to fight at 154, but nobody will step up
the B-side talked it up, but then failed to do what was necessary for the 155lb SUPERSTAR..... then he flip-flopped by throwing his hands up in desperation stating that he can easily make 154 but nobody will fight him
you cannot make that shht up
and btw, Golovkin did not just lie about the weight to Canelo, he lied about the weight to EVERYONE..... killing fights with Cotto/Ward for the exact same reason
the B-side talked it up, but then refused to negotiate with EVERYONE..... NOT just Canelo
it is easy to see who is the common denominator, Golovkin has never lifted his finger to make a meaningful fight with ANYONE
I cannot agree with a single comment in your postComment
