i don't like tarver because of his personality. if he was more humble, and didn't say **** like "i'm one of the greatest fighters of all time" and talk a truck load of **** all the time then i would probably like him.

i scored their first fight 115-113, tarver was way to cautious and allowed the exhausted jones to hop around, pot shot him, and sling the left hand every once in a while. the interesting thing is that he probably could have knocked out roy in the third bout but all of a sudden, without warning, he looked exhausted and started backing away from the hurt jones. honestly, for a second i thought tarver felt sorry for roy and didn't want to knock him out again or somthing.

seriously though man, people are making excuses for this fight because hopkins is 41 years old. even if you've never seen hopkins fight before, the fact that he's 41 would tell you that he isn't the same fighter as he was when he was 31. having said that, i think tarver will get the UD.

      1. You're a ****ing idiot if you scored the first Jones Tarver fight for Tarver. That's an outright joke. He fought in brief flurries in a limited number of rounds. Roy CLEARLY won 11 and 12. There is no way you can have that fight scored for Tarver and have any idea of how scoring a fight works.

      2. Judges can score even rounds. You've alluded several times that would invalidate someone's opinion (which again is a joke considering you prove over and over you have no idea how scoring works) to have an even round. They are discouraged from doing it for multiple rounds, but an even round is perfectly acceptable in a tight fight.

You need to get over yourself, and remember everytime you look to talk down to somone else about their scoring habbits that you are the very definition of the pot calling the kettle black.

Tarver gets disrespected because he's a loud mouth cry baby. When's the last time he won an important fight on his first try?

He hasn't, because he's cried his way into rematches.

And for the 2nd time in this thread, what's the most disapointing of all is the way Tarver has completely dismissed and DUCKED Glen Johnson.

Glenn Johnson did not have to give Tarver a rematch, but he did. And Tarver turns around without giving Johnson the same fair shake he'd received. That's a disgrace. And everytime he's asked about it in interviews he avoids the question.

It's really fitting that you're so hard up about this Diego, because if there was one personalty in boxing you're most like, it's Antonio Tarver:
