I'm just tired of Tarver being unable to win with any of you bogus posters. No matter what he does or who he beats, there's always something wrong with him. Well, he beat the **** out of Roy Jones, and that was terrific for me. Not so much for all of your Roy ass kissers. If he beats Hopkins, none of you will respect him STILL, yet you're all going to watch the fight. It's just ridiculous how some of you think you can get away with it. Well, if Tarver kills another legend on Saturday, just know that you don't have to respect him, but history will.
Tarver has my respect and I think he's actually a pretty good boxer, but I can still hate him for beating ol' Roy
A weight drained Jones clearly outpointed Tarver a less than 24 hours after spending 6 straight hours in the Sauna.
And I'm still hoping beyond hope Hopkins steals the fight this weekend so I can listen to him cry about the weight drained him.
Tarver cried when he lost the Jones fight, and cried when he lost the Johnson fight. He also punked out of the Johnson rubber match when Glenn didn't have to ever give him a rematch.
You have a really weak and twisted take on this whole situation.
I'd love to see how you scored Tarver-Jones I and Tarver-Johnson I. No way Jones won by more than 115-113, and no way Johnson beat Tarver period. You are as biased as it gets when it comes to Tarver. Some people (you) will just never be able to get over the fact that the great Roy Jones Jr. was crushed by a former crackhead.
I think Tarver is terrific. It's always something special when you can pick a guy out ahead of time and say "this is the guy that's going to..."
I picked him to beat Roy in 2002, he got as close as you can in 2003, and he did it in 2004, and it was great.
He feeds off the hatred that's what keeps him going. The motivation, no doubt is he a good boxer, but I just wonder if the 40 year old BHOP has anything left to take him down.

your overrating tarver. he beat roy jones? who else? jones beat him in the first fight, glenn johnson beat him., hopkins beat the **** out of and stopped an undefeated glenn johnson who was 32-0 at the time. tarver talks too much,. he challenges guys who are on the downslide time and time again. he isn't anything special.,
tarver didn't win the first fight. get over yourself bro.
after roy came down in weight, he was pretty much done. after u do that to ur body it puts too much of a toll. of course roys ego and pride said that he could do it but it was just to much at his age.
in roys prime, tarver wouldn't really have a shot.

there is absolutely no evidence for you to make a claim like that. what are you gonna point to? RICHARD HALL?! get real. Tarver beat him up three times, won twice. Keep making excuses, but facts are the only thing that matters here.

116-112 Roy. He wont by a longshot, it really wasnt that close. The people who do think it was close simply dont know how to score rounds.
I disagree. I had it a draw. Many people gave Roy half the first 6 rounds, which makes no sense. Tarver dominated the first 6 rounds, losing 2 at most. Sure Roy won 4 of the last 6, but that is a draw. I'll try to find my scorecard sometime. 8 rounds to 4 though is ****ing ridiculous no matter whose side you're on.

Tarver took many of the early rounds, yes, but roy took him down the stretch. It wasnt close, people just werent used to seeing roy tested.
