Dude I said that in my post. If a fighter is landing power punches and can't hurt his opponent , keep his opponent off him, or control the ring they aren't effective. Obviously a power punch is more likely to hurt your opponent. Hasn't Charlo kocked guys down with his jab also?

That's not what the OP was asking. He said an even number of punches one guy throwing more jabs the other more power punches. I agree power punchs are more likely to hurt the other fighter but if they are ineffective.....

calzaghe power punches count as jabs, though...all power punches are not the same, Naseem Hamed's 1 power punch = Mayweather's 20 power punches

Im sorry I still have a problem with 10 jabs being the same as 10 hooks or uppercuts??? Honestly ill take 1 jab for every 1 hook or uppercut I land ALL DAY. Ive taken 1000's of jabs NONE ko'd me. Fkn Uppercut??? Has put me on my ass seeing stars and counting SHEEP!

Without context, this means nothing. Everything other than a jab is automatically called a power shot, but it doesn't mean it was thrown with power or bad intentions...and jabs can be thrown hard, or just flicked defensively.
