I score rounds based on who did more damage

I keep a running tally in my head of who is ahead in round and by how much. So i score a jab 1 point , light power shot 2 points then score any harder blow accordingly. I may score a clean hard shot that bothers opponent 10 points.

what good is a ''power'' punch if it doesnt do damage ?

are we to assume power punches ALWAYS do ''damage'' ?

a hook has the same point value as a jab and as a body blow.

Who wins round.

fighter 1 presses the action lands two power shots but the rest of his punches miss or don't land clean. He doesn't get hit back with a power shot.

Fighter 2 get hits by two power shots while pressed to the ropes but blocks and rolls the rest and makes his opponent miss with a lot of hugging in there too. He doesn't land anything significant back.


Fighter 2 is the A side and has played off juges.
