In the US everybody knows who Floyd is. Not sure about other places though. His domestic violence stuff made him a household name here.
Mike Tyson & Robin Givens had to be interviewed by Barbara Walters on a prime-time television special. Sometimes Floyd get's mentioned on TMZ. I honestly don't think there is any comparison.
I'm not a Floyd hater, and I have nothing to get over. Floyd is Floyd. He made a lot of money, but most of the general public would not recognize him, and they couldn't care less who he is. I don't know why that fact has to be so painful for Floyd's effeminate fans.
