and you're right, floyd is being protected now. you cant bring floyd up and match him with any of the current WW right now because the new excuse is "floyd is retired", but floyd just fought in august LOL!!!
We’re seriously going with the ‘Floyd ducked Thurman’ mindset?

You guys spend too long on the internet. Bots have invaded your brain.

Yep. Floyd ducked a second-rate champion who’s skills are average, who barely beat Porter, who beat no-one of note back then, who brings zero money to the table.

Yep Floyd wanted no part of that. After absolutely schooling far better fighters throughout his career, and then winding his career down, he didn’t want none of ‘one time’.

Funny how tards can completely rewrite history around their favorite fighters.

And Floyd is retired. He’s 40. He retired back in 2015. He came back to fight an MMA fighter with no professional fights purely for the money, and went straight back to retirement. In your mind that makes him an active fighter?

Guys like you want nothing more than to see him lose to the point he still obsesses your thoughts.

so you're saying floyd fought the tougher challenger in berto over thurman then?

floyd fought berto in late sept 2015, thurman was still a interim champ at that time???
i also don't believe floyd had the manny fight "planned"...he was still avoiding manny talk from the press, but bascially had nowhere to go after that dismal maidana 2 fight, and the suits basically forced his hand to make the pac fight...

if he did have the manny fight planned then it just goes to show that he's a cherry picker all along.

he was still trying to avoid a manny fight imo...

if you remember correctly, maidana 2 was considered a bust because the numbers didn't show any significant increase from the first fight, and the execs were doing interviews basically saying they were going to intervene on the cultivation of the pac fight...thats when floyd out of the blue pops up on manny at a basketball game...

Western and djtmal are two of the last remaining Manny diehards that haven't gotten over Floyd beating Manny so easily.

No matter what, they will post something that either minimizes a Floyd accomplishment or find some way to criticize his resume. The goal is to make it appear like Floyd and Manny are equals or close when They are not.

Floyd is superior in every way. That fact annoys them and drives their insatiable ******ation.

They do this once a week at least so just get used to it.

Floyd beats all those clowns with only one arm, these boxers now days are all pathetic..floyd would clean the division even if he was 50.

Floyd going on 41 but remember as recent as 1 year ago Floyd said himself that he didn't see anyone out there that could beat him "Even at his age" but no one brings enough to the table so he won't be back.

But Farhood is wrong If you watch Floyd career he really didn't rely on his reflex's and speed. He's confusing Floyd with Roy Jones Jr. Floyd has relied on skills for the majority of his career. He's never been the quickest or the fastest and regardless once your in your 30's there's no way you could get by on just quickness and reflex's because there not the same ala Floyd-Mosley rd 2..

If it was all about speed quickness and reflex Khan should of beat Canelo, Floyd is considerably smaller than Khan and beat Canelo with ease, that's skill...

                    lol...

in other words, you really can't deny that floyd avoided better comp than berto and mcgregor, and a thurman fight could have been made

Yea Floyd's beat all of these new school fighters using throwback old school techniques mixed in with a few new tricks that they were never taught that's what they don't understand.

As for the new fighters the craftiest fighter out there today that was actually taught and uses some of those old school moves is hands down Terrance Crawford, he is the most skilled and closest to Floyd's successor out of the bunch imo. Spence rely's on too much power and aggressiveness that can get him into trouble the older he gets and imo he was slightly losing to Brook before the KO.
