Buster Douglas was undisputed champion (lost all the belts on his first defense)... is he an atg?

It’s not what you do, it’s how you do it. Theirs guys that have shown a lot more in a loss then other fighters who win.

Holmes had some decent wins and performances after Tyson sparked him. Wlad retired after AJ. Plus Tyson obliterated Holmes whereas AJ went life and death with Wlad.

But Joshua was more inexperienced than even a Tyson at that age (already unified champ with several world class wins) obviously.

This is the 5 year run that made Tyson great:

          Trevor Berbick (WBC)
          James Smith (WBA)
          Pinklon Thomas
          Tony Tucker (IBF)
          Tyrell Biggs
          Larry Holmes (last era's great)
          Tony Tubbs
          Michael Spinks (lineal)
          Frank Bruno
          Carl Williams

          Lost to Buster Douglas.

Then he had the likes of Tillman, Stewart and Razor Ruddock before he was locked up.

Going to be extremely difficult to match that in the near future with the way boxing is these days. Not impossible, but very difficult. Then you have to factor in how Tyson beat them as he went 14-1 (11kos) vs that opposition, with his KO's not going past the 7th round.

holmes also was inactive for nearly 2 years. it was a cash grab fight.

why do people say aj went ''life and death'' with wlad

                wlad scored a kd.
                he didnt bust aj up
he wasnt piling on the points
at no time was the ref going to save aj

                wtf

btw, aj and wilder both would kill those so called champs mike beat. what a pitiful bunch they were

If he has Klitschko, Wilder and Parker on his resume and all 4 belts, then he would have surpassed mike tyson

people will spew at that comment but sorry, it's true.

And Wlad wasnt inactive before Joshua?

Of course it was a life and death fight. Did you not watch it? From the last minute of round 5 to the 8th or 9th round AJ was looking done. Ref would probably have stepped in if Wlad could have landed a few more shots after the KD. Did you not see how wobbly he was?

It definitely isnt true, Earl. Parker and Wilder have precisely 2 top 10 wins between them, and one of those is ****ing bermaine stiverne
