Whyte is ranked number 1 by the WBC. Moreover skysport are investing and building most Joshua opponents. That was the reason they are now showcasing Wilder here.

Part of their plan was always to get Wilder to fight and obviously destroy Whyte over here in the UK, they would then maximise the Joshua/Wilder fight on PPV.

The Whyte/Joshua link is a well known thing over here due to them hating each other. If Wilder stops Whyte like Joshua did then the UK casuals get the PPV numbers up....Am guessing this is the line of thinking from everyone involve from Hearn and skysports.

Started out as a wilder fan but kinda tired of the constant online/media talk about fighting AJ when there are plenty of other fights to be made in the mean time,... like Whyte. So, for however many millions of dollars he can make fighting Whyte and with the claims he can beat Whyte in easy fashion all I can say is this. Hey brother, don’t talk about it, be about it! The AJ fight will happen when the time comes, until then you are just spinning your wheels and going nowhere.
