That makes sense. But where should the fight happen??? Do they fight over sea's to give Wilder exposure over there? Or do they fight in the states with a chance at AJ next???

Man the HW division is TERRIBLE!!! Whyte isn't even ranked in the Top 5 by and of the belts.

I think he will be fighting AJ very soon regardless of if he fights Whyte or not. Fighting in the UK would be more beneficial for him for two reasons, firstly if he KO's Whyte then that automatically builds his profile with the casual fans and they will see him as a genuine rival. Two, it would help him get used to a hostile atmosphere, one he will likely face again against Joshua.

But help me understand how this fight is feasible in the UK? I don't think they'd sale many tickets or sale many PPV.

Seems bogus to me unless it happens on an AJ undercard and I don't see Wilder agreeing to that.

It would be an investment by Sky. Most likely they would put the fight on regular Sky Sports, with the aim of maximising viewers. Regardless of whether Wilder or Whyte wins, it helps build the name of the Joshua's opponent in the inevitable unification fight.

So you're assuming to eat the loss. I guess that makes sense.

He was offered $5M to fight him and priced himself out by demanding $7M. Now he is demanding 50/50 for Joshua, pricing himself out yet again. Biggest clown in boxing right now.

Whyte is ranked number 1 by the WBC. Moreover skysport are investing and building most Joshua opponents. That was the reason they are now showcasing Wilder here.

Part of their plan was always to get Wilder to fight and obviously destroy Whyte over here in the UK, they would then maximise the Joshua/Wilder fight on PPV.

The Whyte/Joshua link is a well known thing over here due to them hating each other. If Wilder stops Whyte like Joshua did then the UK casuals get the PPV numbers up....Am guessing this is the line of thinking from everyone involve from Hearn and skysports.

Wilder will beat Whyte and AJ on the same night. Both of these Eddie Hearns clowns don’t want any of Wilder. Eddie just wants to milk his cow AJ against nobody’s. Scared to put him in with Miller, Wilder, or Ortiz. 3 legitimate heavy weights. I think Fury will beat AJ also. Come on Eddie, test your primaddonna. He got dropped by a over the hill Klitschko now you became scared and have AJ in protective custody. Wilder knocks him out inside 3.
