"I teach these guys how to do business, and if these fights come off, it’s because of me. And if these fights don’t come off, it’s because of them. It’s as simple as that."

Anyone that claims 50-50 isn't Wilder pricing himself out of a deal when Wilder earns around 1million a fight and Joshua earns around 10million a fight is quite simply a total fanboy or remedial idiot. Wilder's statement that the US is much larger than the UK is totally irrelevant when Wilder has cornered so little of that large market whilst Joshua has cornered so much of the smaller market... basic economics. There's really absolutely no way this fight get made on 50-50 unless Joshua has knocked over all the over marbles (as in beat Parker) and there's no other worthwhile fight for him out there to the extent that him and his team feel like being generous in order to become the undisputed, unified heavyweight champion.

And I know people are going to come out with the usual rhetoric of "you shouldn't care about money, bla bla, fanboy, bla bla" but that's bull**** when we're talking about a guy that has been demanding a fight but then expects to get half of the pot for it.

If Wilder really wants this fight and truly believes he will 100% win then he accepts less than 50% of the purse. Hopefully his team aren't just a bunch of an enablers for a guy that comes across like a deluded child and make him realise his true worth so this fight actually gets made in 2018.

Remember when pac was demanding 50-50 and they were all like "yo dawg, dis be some straight booooshyte up in here yo, TBE da a side yo, **** outta here wit dat, y'all betta recognie... we aint play yo"

Then when wilder who's a lot further away of a draw than pac was vs floyd demands 50/50 its a "duck" that hearn won't give him it.

These are tactical negotiations for the public to hear vs alternative offers behind the scenes that are non disclosed. This way it put pressure on both camps.

Splits alter depending on location and venue of course and the dem0graphic metrics have to be calculated. The fact of the matter is that England is more way smaller and saturated compared to US based figures. In the states MLB games, even the non metropolis cities can pack stadiums even if the team isnt highly ranked.

                  Ok, cool.

                  one question though

what the **** has that got to do with anything.

Wilder can't even sell out 10k seat arenas in the us fighting other americans.

I don't care about his "potential market value" which is based on you pulling potential numbers out of your ass with no basis in reality.

                  FACTS

                  Joshua last 2 attendences 165k
                  wilder last 2 attendences 20k?

Joshua last 2 fights ppv 2.2M
Wilder last 2 fights on free tv <2m?

Joshua and his opponents had combined like 50 million purses last 2 fights

Wilder and the muppet squad had combined purses of about 5 million

demanding 50/50 cos "he got da green belt doe" is ****ing ******ed

If Eddie Hearn is serious about fighting Deontay Wilder in the calendar year of 2018, then the fight probably won't happen until later in the year; Perhaps in the Fall. I think both champions want a minimum of at least two more tune up fights a piece before stepping between the squared circle with each another.

I knew he would price himself out. 50-50 will never happen and wilder knows that.
