Very interesting saw a video awile back , where Jose Benavidez Jr. said he spoke to Bob Arum on multiple occasions to try & make the Crawford fight , an easy to make in-house fight, but Arum had a bunch of excuses , & said no repeatedly. Jose Benavidez & Crawford had a war of words on social media. I hadn't brought it up cause J. Benavidez got shot in the leg & was out of commission for a while . Just yesterday I saw a video with both Benavidez Bros. & Jose said his main target is Crawford at 147 pounds. Jose is confident he can win that fight. I think Crawford is a very good fighter but I'd like to see him face Benavidez & the top guys at 147, which is a stacked division. I figured I'd start hyping stuff up haha.
Enjoy the fights this weekend bro.Last edited by REYESdelBOXEO; 11-10-2017, 05:16 PM.Comment

If his power improves at welterweight, I feel the division is F***ed. His skill set is all around great and near perfect, and an increase in punching power will make it difficult for anyone to get passed him. Just my opinion, dude is a great and fun fighter to watch.Comment

No, boxing is about "who you have beaten" not "best available opponent" he is tremendously skilled but he is still unproven. He doesn't even have a Shawn Porter or Amir Khan caliber fighter on his resumeFacts are -
He beat the #1 and 2 guys at 135 and the best fighter at 130 (coming up)
He beat the #1, 2 and 3 guys at 140 and won all the belts
He lost maybe 4-5 rounds across those six fights and showed tremendous skill, versatility, dominance and intelligence.
He has never once ducked or sidestepped one challenge to date.
Fiction is -
That he's protected. What and who could he have done/fought up to this point?
That he's scared of other fighters
It's going to be hard to get Thurman, Spence, Garcia, Porter (ugh) in the ring at 147 since they are all PBC and they have their own round robin of barely fighting each other. Crawford will continue to fight the best available opponent and will continue to dominate. Hard to ask for more than that.
He's certainly one of the best fighters in the World. Definitely top 3, arguably #1.Comment

Is Arum going to feed him to the animal Jeff Horn without a tune up? Wow thats giving the smaller crawford to Hornet Horn on a silver platter. No way Crawford goes for this without a tune up right? Maybe not. Crawford might just accept the challenge and take it to this australian savage!Comment
