Can you name one top p4p fighter who faces beast after beast? I'll wait! Most if not all top fighters faces lessor competition. So call guys like you expect the few best guys to fight the best all the time mainly because you want them to loose! I could name many fighters in each division who would be considered a cherry picker by your standards.

It's very very rare someone has a run like that. The nearest I can think is carl Froch but even he had that yusuf Mack fight half way through that run.

Crawford is the man. I thought he was a decent fighter early on in his career but I didn't think he would accomplish everything that he has done so far. With that said I think he still needs a few fights at 147 before he's ready for Spence!

Crawfords my man and it's an obvious and needed move .My only gripe is that no fighter from a lower division should be moved directly into the Number 1 spot in the division above without at least earning it against one of the very top contenders first!

that's not unusual though in boxing. Historically, guys like sugar ray Leonard, Oscar delahoya, felix Trinidad, Roy Jones, Shane mosley, Miguel cotto etc, all get put in #1 spots once moving up a division as long as they have the name, and the body of work in their previous weight class, they'll be granted that privilege.
