This poor guy... he's like the Dollar Store version of HW champion, whereas Joshua is more along the lines of the Porsche dealer version. I mean, it would be great if Mr Low Rent did go to England and put forth the proper effort and acceptable terms to make the fight happen... but for some reason I see all this bluster as Wilder nodding off at the wheel soon as the money terms start unfolding. He isn't worth a 50/50 deal at all. His fights simply do not generate nearly as much as Joshua's do. Now, if he beats the boogey man Joshua, then the world is his. And he needs to approach it like that. This biz of him with the swelled out chest, screaming how he's the king... that's so unnecessary and will not move negotiations along at all. Or just maybe that's how he wants it so he can duck out and claim they wouldn't pay him enough. At this point, who knows?

Styles make fights and Deontays style is to intimidate with his size, windmill punches and front foot pressure, he has no range awareness whatsoever. AJ is a similar size, has outstanding boxing skills (inc range awareness) and will tag Deontay with shots that keep him off balance every time he see’s his shoulder drop. If that tag turns into a 1,2 combination (or more) as the fight wears on Deontay going to look very ugly.
And no before you say it I’m not an AJ fanboy, I don’t really care who wins if it’s a good bout.

Joshua is a Media Generated sensation
I doubt Wilder knocks out Joshua because unless Wilder shows a huge diminshment in his skills in future fights Hearn won't let the match happen. Joshua is a carefully managed, media generated super star. He isn't allowed to fight any fighter unless the opponent is a named fighter with diminished skills on the downward slide (Klitchko) or is a built up tomato can, the formula works, U.K. fans eat it up and Joshua is making millions all because he survived almost being knocked out by a slow, tired Klitchko and eventually knocked out a tired 41 year old Klitchko who had already lost is title to another fighter! He won the title fighting the weakest so called champion named Martin who has all but disappeared from the boxing scene. This is what happens with so many titles available in an already skill diminished division. I understand why Wilder wants Joshua, big money and a pretty easy fight against a hard punching slow robot who gasses after a few rounds. I honestly see Joshua being totally destroyed by Wilder and I know Hearn knows it too and that's why they'll dance around a fight making millions first. In the end it may happen but it will be the end of JoshuaLast edited by bluemax; 11-09-2017, 06:24 AM.

Joshua beat #1.
He is now #1. Wilder is #2.

AJ and Wilder it’s just a negotiation, neither is ducking or scared, but Wilder will be wanting to get paid and AJ’s side will be wanting to hold onto as much as possible. It will get done and I suspect both will fight one more opponent before meeting.
