People eat that shit up UFC isn't about the best fighting the best because it's not global like boxing. It's an in house company If they were to be fighting every mma fighter in the world then it's the best vs the best

Hell, McGregor got a taste of boxing money and now he wants a partnership with the UFC and to co-promote his own fights now!
Exactly... He probably arrogantly thinks he can overcome certain obstacles in the boxing world, but will be unpleasantly surprised when his ideas don’t work.

should be interesting, but doubt boxers will agree to wearing Reebok only clothes and no sponsors and 60% of their normal pay

I'm all for seeing what Dana and the UFC can do here. Their MMA model does work and is profitable. Their fighters are considered the best and UFC is considered the premiere level for MMA. If he can manager to build their boxing side into the same thing, more power to them.

I'm intrigued and looking forward to what this produces.

he wont be any different since he'll be competing with other promoters. its easy for him to make all the big fights in the ufc, when all the fighters are signed to him.

Looks like Arum was right. MAMA is broke. White is following the money.

It can't hurt. Dana White has a reputation, whether earned or unearned, for having the best fight the best. He will never be able to own it like the UFC does with MMA, so maybe his compromises will have fighters under different umbrellas getting in the ring with one another
