Boxing promoters are dead, you have probably one of the best fight of the decade in dec 9 and not many people know about it...It would be cool to see dana in boxing, he knows how to hype up a fight and his cards are always stacked. Stop hating on the guy, he's a freaking genius.

His cards are always stacked with bums. Just like his last main event a 38 yr old bum fighting a 4 yrs retired great white hype bum.

Dana White is nothing without the UFC monopoly of MMA behind him. He won't be able to bully the fighters in boxing and the UFC hype machine with Rogan won't work in boxing either. Also, all those top notch facilities in the UFC gym are useless if you don't have decent boxers to spar with and decent boxing trainers there.

The MMA/UFC fans don't want to watch pure boxing either. The only way he could attract some viewers is if he would have the famous MMA fighters try boxing like Nate Diaz vs. Conor in a boxing match or Stipe Miočić vs some known heavyweight in boxing and so on.

I think it would be smarter for him to try to take over kickboxing.

I don't understand how Dana will make this work, he would have to outline does he want his own league with own title and belt or just be independent contracting like how boxing is now, cause of course the Ali act, plus boxing as a whole as multiple belts and sanctioning bodies, so if he does follow suit, he will be criticized like the rest for not making the right fights at the right time because of boxing politics, plus he doesn't get along with golden boy and bob arum so that's already two promoters he wouldn't work with

Maybe zuffa boxing should just invest in PBC and revamp it as a league

The UFC is a soulless corporation that bullies the fighters. This is not something that the boxing fans want or need. All of their UFC "high performance" institutes don't mean crap. I'd rather train in some garage or basement with a legit boxing trainer and legit sparring partners. Boxing is an old school sport, you can't train heart and courage. That's why McGregor who trained in that high level UFC training center and sparred with bums folded like a ***** when the going got tough while boxers who came up the hard way in crowded dirty gyms learned how to fight both physically and mentally.

That's what the MMA community doesn't understand since it's a middle class sport.

Also boxers are too proud to allow someone like Dana White to openly insult them like he insults his MMA fighters. Imagine a ****ing promoter Dana White talking **** to someone like David Haye or Tyson Fury. In boxing, even promoters like Hearn know that they need to be respectful to their fighters even if it's a bit fake sometimes.

Dana White's personality won't go far in boxing. The man tries to be the biggest star of the show while in boxing the boxers have always been the biggest stars. It would be a huge clash of egos and all the top draws in boxing would leave him (if he somehow signed them in the first place) and go somewhere else. Hell, the majority of the UFC fighters would leave him instantly if they could get out of their contracts and get paid as well in some other organization. Dana White is a proven liar and a bully. He's very difficult to work with, even his own mother wrote a book about what a piece of **** he is FFS. He only gets away with it in MMA because the fighters have nowhere else to go.

This guy's a straight up ....keep trying to convince everyone that UFC is about the best fighting the best,& that your 1 off wwf circus shîtshow u put on with flômo is "doing it better" ufc is good for one thing only,finding white bums u can market as the great white hope,then give them contracts to fight bums just like Sage Northcutt,Rousey, mcgimper,gsp etc.etc. then when you're through with them throw them away on skidrow like Chuck Liddell.

Bro I just spat out my coffee when I read that. Especially “McGimper” hahaha. Bottom line Dana has finally realised boxing will always be #1 and that MMA/UFC is second or third rate in comparison. I still can’t believe those mugs paid $4 billion for an organisation that has only one person that can sell PPVs. This idea that it’s better than boxing and all the fanboys that go along with it have been amusing me for years.
