he's right about the production.

But even compared to the Brits and Germans it's like the Americans don't give a toss anymore about how the event is packaged up. Multi-multi million dollar fight for Mayweather vs McGregor. McGregor comes out to a track played over the PA, no effects, no lights, no razzamatazz. In the UFC they turn the venue green, have Sinead O'Connor singing The Foggy Dew atop a plinth, ffs. I don't even remember Floyd entering the ring.

In Europe sometimes it is cringy like the Klits videos before they fought or the whole step into the light thing they're doing in the world boxing super series. But surely as a promoter you're obligated to do something to make it a multisensory experience. If all else fails stick Sweet Caroline on like a gentleman.

I most definitely welcome him and all efforts to put some fire back into boxing, which has lost its sparkle. You look to the heavyweights, and Joshua is just too nice a guy to get fans really going and Wilder's thing is to act like a diva everytime he answers a question. Pah.

Boxing promoters are dead, you have probably one of the best fight of the decade in dec 9 and not many people know about it...It would be cool to see dana in boxing, he knows how to hype up a fight and his cards are always stacked. Stop hating on the guy, he's a freaking genius.
