NEW YORK Deontay Wilder didn't feel like he needed a rematch with Bermane Stiverne, but at least it afforded him a chance to knock out the only opponent that had gone the distance with him. The unbeaten WBC heavyweight champion took full advantage of that opportunity Saturday night, when he destroyed Stiverne in their second fight. Wilder (39-0, 38 KOs) dropped Stiverne (25-3-1, 21 KOs), a former WBC champion and the mandatory challenger for his title, three times on his way to a first-round knockout at Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

Gotta disagree here, always said whatever happens - this is a fight that screams out for rematch.

He's just trying to build the fight now if there's not a knockout there will be a rematch

Of course a rematch is going to happen. Whoever wins would get a rematch.

Deontay Wilder really cranking up the heat on the UK boy, Joseph Parker seems to be really quiet ATM,, Alpha dog needs to stand up and growl or bark. I don't see any other dogs barking except Wilder

I like AJ, but Eddie Hearn doesn't want that smoke for him, They know Mark Breland would have wilder sticking and moving to avoid AJ boxer puncher style, AJ swings hooks to go for the kill more than jabbing so deontay winning is realistic, no one cares about whyte, and wilder shouldn't have to fly for whyte, but he would for AJ

Fight should be on sky sports box office/CBS
              Super Bowl weekend in London

That way Eddie Hearn will have American sports media's attention

This Superbowl weekend idea isn't bad at all. I'd love it lol it's better than listening to the US press talk about the game on Sunday.

Wilder: I Won't Need a Rematch After I Beat Joshua Brutally. I'll just need to be put gently back into my induced coma by the doctors so I can carry on dreaming
