Yes I should've phrased that slightly differently, he would be undisputed if he holds the 4 belts, but there will still be questions from some quarters unless and until he beats Fury as the lineal champion.

Sure, just as Tyson was undisputed, but there was still interest in a fight against Spinks.

But Fury's claim to the lineal title in spurious at best. #1 - He "won" the lineage from Wladimir Klitschko, a guy who most considered inferior to his brother Vitali and they refused to fight each other (isn't lineage supposed to start with #1 vs #2?).

#2 - Fury publicly announced his retirement, which is supposed to vacate the lineal title.

3 and most damning, he's accepted a retrospective ban for a positive PED test prior to the fight that won him the Klitschko fight, that bout has since been declared a no contest. So he arguably had no right to be in the ring in the first place.

Please understand, I'm not arguing for Furys lineal status, simply acknowledging the reality that for a proportion of the boxing world, he will remain an unanswered question to Joshua's status until he's beaten.i think that suits Joshua because that fight could do massive business and I doubt that fury will recover to he level required to beat AJ, but that's way in the future in an case.
