At this point it looks like now AB is just going to be used a launch pad for guys to be seen beating him down

Pretty much, imo. The novelty of Broner being the second coming of Floyd is done with, but he still brings eyeballs to his fights.

If he gets washed again though, this might be the end of him in the ring (viewers can only really enjoy seeing a guy get beat on so many times before they tune out).
