He brings ratings. Lipinets is lucky to get that shot.

These guys should both be fighting at 135 if they want to be truly elite. And Broner at 135 would actually be a great fight against Mikey Garcia I think, but at 140 both their power was blunted and it allowed Mikey to just outwork Broner. But if they could both make 135, that would become a new cash cow division with Broner, Mikey, Linares, Lipinets, Verdejo, and Lomachenko coming soon all fighting there.

LOL im laughing because I literally JUST saw a comment in the Bivol thread I think, referencing Kovalev, saying how black fighters never get title shots coming off loses, but if you're from Eastern Europe you get all sorts of special treatment in boxing... yeah, Kovalev really got special treatment in his last two fights... but anyway, here we are, with a black fighter getting a title shot coming off a loss. These racial fans are so damn dumb sometimes.

At this point it looks like now AB is just going to be used a launch pad for guys to be seen beating him down

It's the punch output doe...he can put somebody on their azz with a perfect shot, à la Porter, but seems stuck between two different styles and doesn't get off enough shots.
