Danny Jacobs vs Charlo is bound to happen, simply by WBC rankings. I don't even know how the WBC has Alvarez listed lol. As if they could insinuate any technical consequence. I'm surprised Alvarez or GBP hasn't sued the WBC for listing him.

With that being said, and HBO NEEDS dates, keep in mind they're not going to bother GBP or Alvarez since they provide revenues for the Mexican holidays, so therefore, HBO REQUIRES alternates as Showtime also has heated fights to come.

With the current WBC rankings, if Charlo can't GGG, what are his options? If Jacobs really wants the Golovkin rematch, then common sense tells you that WBC advisory and HBO will push for Jacobs vs Charlo or ELSE THEN I can see Golovkin being stripped to not face that winner. This has to be the case as all the dumb step aside narratives that Lil'G fans proclaimed comes back to bite as they finally get the nature of business.

HBO can also push for Andrade to fight a top 10 or top 5 WBC ranker. Which will elevate his mgmt to call out the fight with the Interim champ or Golovkin. Andrade is not going to get the Lemieux fight

I said some point in time because I don't know what Loeffler's plan is for Gennady. If the WBC mandates the fight Sanchez already confirmed they would fight him. You'll get your wish I'm sure. Personally I think he should fight him sooner rather than later. If he gets through the that OK that would allow him to schedule a fight between the Lemieux Saunders winner. That would give him all the major belts. I'd rather see the Canelo rematch but if they try and drag it out just walk away from it.

So he wants a middleweight fight to be at middleweight?

they will defer Charlo, and hope that he loses in the meantime

just like they did with Jacobs/Saunders

if Lemieux beats Saunders, they will jump on that rematch

there are far easier paths to take than Charlo..... while they wait for Canelo to give them that fight on their terms, again

Why are these con-artists/crooks Tom Loeffler, Lady GaGaG & Abel Sanchez trying to weasel their way out of the fight so soon? Don't be scurred ladies. It's not like their gonna fight a Beast like ZURDO RAMIREZ , who he's been ducking for years already, in the meantime. Nope , it looks like Golovkin vs. Dominick Wade 2 is on the menu for K2 Promotions , I heard they posted his bail. I could already here Abel Sanchez - "It's a dangerous fight for Gennady, Wades a hardened criminal , no one knows what to expect, he's been training his a$$ off in his cell , it's a good fight!"

K2 Promotions & GGG are dying to go BumHunting again, some one, anyone who will just stand there and take a beating & not fight back, to make him look great.
The only reason this has arisen is due to DLH clearly stating that the rematch negotiations are on hold until after the Saunders vs Lemieux fight. This sounds off alarm bells and rightfully so, as Oscar has ulterior motives as usual. Golovkin can't put his career on hold at 36 years old. He should certainly have a plan in place should DLH plan on pulling Canelo from the rematch.

I think you'll find that should Lemieux beat Saunders and I doubt that happens, expect Lemieux vs Canelo May 5th, while they allow GGG to age just a little more. DLH ain't no fool, he can see Golovkin is still a threat even at 35 or 36 and will want an extra few miles on Golovkins clock before they step in the ring again. Of course GGG should fight Charlo in the mean time or the other fella with a long name should that scenario play out.

If they wait on Canelo he may as well say his new promoter is Oscar.
