Thank you. Frankly, the quote from Joshua mentions the WBO (but neglects the IBF.) I don't know what that part is all about - but that brings up another matter. Wilder has claimed, rather loudly, that he wants to be the undisputed heavyweight champion of the World.

Given that he is not going to fight Joshua before next Summer, what is stopping him from issuing a similar challenge to Joseph Parker, to unify the WBO title with his own? For one thing, if he were to bring BOTH belts to the table, surely, when it comes to the big match up with AJ, having two belts will improve his share of the purse?

I mean, leaving Parker out of things, for the moment, if the next big match is between AJ and Wilder, then, at some point, the winner is going to have to go after Parker, or whoever holds the WBO belt at the time, in order to accomplish "undisputed" status.

And it doesn't end there. As of now, the lineal title is still held by Tyson Fury. With his mooted return on the cards, the only way to complete the set is by beating Fury who, like the other three, has never been defeated in the ring, to date. That's why the next 12-18 months are shaping up to be the best time Heavyweight boxing has seen, for well over a decade...and that is the case even though the rest of the division may not be up to the same standard as the top four or five guys in it.

Why? aj has fought the weakest bums his whole career.

Let's not pretend you have to be elite to fight him.

Wilder tried everything possible to unify with Parker. There were very serious negotiations earlier this year and Wilder was willing to take less than 50/50 to make the fight happen. He was desperate. Showtime was on board to televise in July 2017.

Bob Arum blocked the fight. He promised ESPN that he could deliver world heavyweight title fights and Parker is his only piece of the heavyweight crown. The ESPN deal hadn't been signed yet and Arum was in a panic to convince Parker's co-promoters to avoid Wilder at all costs.

Further, Haymon has ZERO stroke with the WBO and Arum has all the stroke in the world with the WBO. Even if Wilder won the title, he'd be stripped so fast it would make your head spin. Every mandatory would be enforced as quickly as possible with no wiggle room whatsoever until he was forced to vacate.

Lolol fight Dylian White first if you want to get to AJ mate- Eddie Hearn

Nobody wants to watch that shyt. If he's serious about Wilder fighting White to get to AJ then its a clear duck.

AJ is also a monster puncher.
AJ is a static robot, of course he'll just stand there.

That would have been Ortiz if he wasn't on PED's
I agree, stiverne beats almost anyone in the division, and nobody else could have done that to him

I don't know where Eddie gets off making those demands but thats not AJ saying that. I think AJ is prob willing to face Wilder but Hearn is trying to delay the inevitable.
