Ideally AJ fights Parker next and beats him so it's for the unified champion of the world and Wilder fights and beats Whyte first to get more exposure to the UK fans who don't really know much about him.

Then they have a mega fight in a stadium in the summer, winner takes all.
This makes a lot of sense. This is exactly how it Should play out.

      lol, just lol
AJ's resume, after 20 fights, is at least ten times better than Wilder's was, after the same number. Even now, Wilder's resume is PUTRID for a so-called champion, with 39 bouts to his name. I feel sorry for him because he has no promoter and so, is forced to resort to desperate measures, in order to raise his profile in his home country, where almost nobody has ever heard of him.

You can all bleat as much as you like (no doubt, it's the "American Way" to cry until you get what you want) but BOTH AJ AND Eddie Hearn has said the fight has to happen in 2018. Given the lack of profile of Wilder (due to no promoter and never having faced a credible opponent), together with unrealistic financial demands, the fight HAS to be built up, to maximize revenues. Put it this way, Ward v Kovalev was supposed to be the fight of 2016, did a pathetic 160,000 PP Views. The rematch fared even worse, with no more than 125,000. Both of those fighters had greater recognition in the US than Deontay Wilder.

The fight between Joshua and Wilder cannot be allowed to suffer a similar fate. Joshua has ALWAYS overpaid his opponents and will have to do so again, with Wilder, who, win or lose, stands to make his biggest-ever payday from the bout. Joshua events are also known for having stacked undercards. All those fighters are paid from AJ's cut. It's the Matchroom model. The fight WILL happen and it WILL happen in 2018 - but it must be allowed to percolate, in order to attract interest in America, or run the risk of flopping, like Kovalev v Ward (and vice versa.)

People who say "Just make the fight now" really know NOTHING about the BUSINESS of professional boxing. Wilder is being a bit of a big-mouthed idiot, whereas AJ is doing exactly what a good professional would be expected to do by letting his TEAM take care of the business side of things. If Wilder IS as dangerous as some people claim, then, unlike each and every one of the stiffs he has fought, thus far, AJ is going to make sure he earns as much as he possibly can from the bout. After all, he risks jeopardizing an even bigger fight against the unbeaten lineal champion, Tyson Fury.

To make this fight happen sooner, rather than later, then Wilder, or the people who advise him, are going to have to be a little more realistic about how much he expects to be paid. Either that, or actually STOP shouting so much and actually MAKE AN OFFER to the other side.
