News Flash, no one knows who Wilder is. This fight won't be nearly as big in the U.S. as it would in the U.K. Compare attendance numbers and purses of the two fighters across their last four fights. So if Wilder really wants this, then he has to realize it's not a 50/50 fight and it brings in more fans and is a bigger event in the U.K. Plus, Joshua has two major titles to Wilder's one.

I take nothing away from Wilder, he looked dangerous and did the business, but Stiverne looked beaten before he stepped into the ring. Not just in his woeful lack of conditioning, but in his eyes. When the bell sounded he looked like a guy who wanted to be somewhere else and 3 minutes later he got his wish.

I just said that???I don't think Wilder gets 50-50 either as I said. But with ESPN now giving boxing a real push.they even have results and news now across the bottom. And Wilder just brought 11,000 to NY so I don't think he is unknown.None of my friends are boxing fans and have had few ask me about him latlely. Two called me since Sat to ask about him.So he is startin to get press and that last KO will help. But Wilder has said he WILL GO TO UK and I have not heard them say anything about 50-50.And like I said before if they did there just trying to get closer to 40% and they prob get 35%

Well I don't know about him "wanting to be somewhere else".But it could be true but one thing I know he DID NOT go where he was wishing lol.

He brought 11K fans to Brooklyn...whooptie doo! The place holds 18K, and even with a decent undercard they couldn't pack the house. But keep thinking Wilder is an attraction. In 39 fights his opponents have all been out of shape slobs, B-rate journeymen or much smaller.

We'll see what happens when negotiations start. I just have a feeling Wilder will price himself out or insist on the fight being in Vegas. That's my opinion on the matter, so I'm not claiming to have any inside knowledge here.

In keeping with the topic of this thread...Stiverne came to lose. That is obvious. He didn't even try. He didn't show up for their first fight either, just plodded through in survival mode. Not even sure how WBC made this loser a mandatory in the first place.

No worries though, in 2018 Wilder will take on Joshua's leftovers and het his 40th victory versus Breazeale.

Keep making excuses for Wilder. Stiverne was never a top tier opponent on any day. Dehydrated or not. He's just a slob. 39 fights and not one win over a championship caliber opponent. For his 40th he fights Joshua's leftovers, enjoy!!

Watch his expression as he entered the ring, he didn't want any of it. He wanted away and after that punch landed he was in a different world.

I'm glad he wasn't seriously hurt, but I'd have been gutted if I'd paid money to watch that fight. A decent couple of fights on the undercard, but Stimane was a big disappointment...

Mn you are takin to youself about Wilder being huge draw already said 3 times he is not as big as Joshua!!!!!!!!!But you are really startin to sound like fanboy!! And as far as leftovers you mean like when Joshua fought Molina??????????????Lets face it ONLY diff between records is a 40 yr old and 2 yr inactive Klich.Which is STILL BETTER then anyone Wilder fought BUT that's not his fault he signed to fight 2 top 5 guys one(Ortiz he did not HAVE to.But lets just go are own way.
