What if Takam had a full camp? LOL.
More impressive performance?: AJ-Takam or Wilder-Stiverne

takam has a draw wit undefeated mike perez(was a robbery takam actually won but was b-side)Are Carlos Takam and Bermane Stiverne seriously being compared to in terms of quality / level? That's like me knocking out a 10 year kid in 30 seconds and someone else taking 10 rounds to stop a fully grown adult in boxing bouts and then people arguing that my win over the 10 year old kid in 30 seconds is more impressive than the other individual who took 10 rounds to stop a fully grown adult.
Here are facts:
- Carlos Takam, prior to fighting Anthony Joshua was only ever stopped by Alexander Povetkin.
- Bermane Stiverne, prior to being stopped by Deontay Wilder, was only ever stopped by Demetrice King.
What is worse, getting stopped by Alexander Povetkin, who himself is an Olympic gold medalist, a former champion and has one of the best heavyweight records in the last 5 years, or getting stopped by Demetrice King, a guy who doesn't even have a wikipedia page and has lost more fights than he won?
Even if we go by victories, Carlos Takam has defeated Tony Thompson, Michael Grant and Franscois Botha, all combined are better than anybody that Bermane Stiverne has beaten combined.
stirveren has a draw against a 17-17 fighter...Comment

Lmao at these guys saying "Takam better, doe". AJ got a gift stoppage in the 10th against a guy who was still slipping and moving. Wilder looked like LeBron bouncing that mofo up and down on the canvas and ended the fight in a minute and change...
But Takam better, doe

Takam was a better opponent. Far more game, more active and actually looked like belonged in a ring. Stiverne looked GARBAGE. He is 39 years old, hasn't fought for 2 years, took the fight on relatively short notice and came in grossly overweight. Who actually gives that Wilder beat him? Who actually thought Wilder WASN'T going to win LMAO? Embarrassing for Bermane, what a waste of time. If Takam fights Bermane, he finishes Bermane.
Wilder looked great, did what he had and should have done, loved the swagger but anyone at the top level can look great vs someone like the Bermane that showed up. I want to see competitive fights being made. Wilder's only top win is vs a 36/37 year old Stiverne who hadn't even beaten anybody. It's not his fault Ortiz pissed hot to be fair but he's 32.
AJ v Wilder is the fight to make. AJ is the A-SIDE, seems to me Wilder is forgetting that. AJ is the biggest draw in Boxing PERIOD. He makes the most money, sells out stadiums...i'm not talking small stadiums either. His fight v Wlad could have done 100k+ live attendance but they couldn't get the permission from the council.Comment

In theory he did...
He was notified 10 weeks prior to train and get in camo for the possibility of fighting AJ.. and thst if pulev didnt pull out then hearn would put him on the monte carlo bill.
Now lets to training for the opponent..
Takam didnt knoe who he would be facing in monte carlo if the pulev fight went ahead.. his opponent hadnt been named. So if your a hw fighter in camp for a fight with no opponent but the possibility of stepping in for pulev.. who do you train for?? .. you train for the HW champion of the world.. your possible opponent.
Takam had a full camp.. and trained for AJ.Comment
