Really? I’ve been boxing for half my life. Your credentials please? strong legs are the foundation of not only power but of endurance. Guys with no legs typically don’t have good stamina. Strong legs keep you up and moving when your hurt and exhausted. Feet and legs are where every punch and boxing movement begins with.
I’ll stick to actually fighting & training, you stick to Forums and YouTube.

haven't you heard? the aim in heavyweight boxing is to be as light as possible. The best heavyweights actually come in <200lbs

Deontay Wilder needs to go back to basics, and learn how to throw straight punches and short hooks! (Also improve his balance and core strength, because he is all over the show!)

Ali Bashir even said wilder size will not enable him to take harder shots better from bigger heavyweights, according to him he would have wilder at 240 bc he would carry it. This is the same Bashir who was around when Wlad had sparred Wilder and Bashir was in Wilders corner helping him out and around Lewis and klitchko trained under Emmanual Steward.

Hard to actually believe ppl really think wilder should weigh that light, thats part of the reason why hes knocked off balance easy just throwing power shots...really makes no sense.

Joshua is going to have a field day with him if he comes in 220...cant wait for that one...lol..IF he gets by stiverne.

You're not fooling anyone with the talk. I've spent my time in the gym and continue to train in the science. Leg size has nothing to do with stamina. GTFO w/ the bro-science. Leg mass is not a key component to the cardio vascular system. Look at great fighters in history and your theory quickly fails.

And, don't try to pull a strawman by bringing up legs being the source of power. I never said they weren't. But, in bringing that up you defeat your own argument because Wilder has chicken legs but generates some of the greatest power in the division. Just as Tommy Hearns did.

Weight doesnt matter. Joshua is built up. Wilder actually seems bigger. What will matter though is skill. And joshua is a bit more skilled.

Accept technique or just all around natural ability trumps all that bull**** you build in a gym. Funny thing is there has never been a boxer in the history of the sport that turned himself into a powerhouse with certain workouts. They always had talent and usually got ****tier once they atarted encorperating untested sports science methods with 0 proven credentials. You can't even use a guy like holyfield as an example, because at 208 he was a killing machine but at 220+ a lethargic man getting by on his natural talent.
