I'm gullible I guess, but I buy the dehydration excuse. Why else wouldn't he throw any punches?

Why the hell would anyone - let alone professional athlete - drink only energy drinks and no water at all? That sounds like a really, really ****** idea

I wouldn't say he's an idiot for becoming dehydrated because it's quite a common thing in this day and age, especially among athletes, with the proliferation of carbonated beverages and energy drinks. Each year a number of athletes die from dehydration. Strangely enough, athletes can also die from overhydration which causes hyponatremia (lack of sodium).

Stiverne isn't the only one.. dehydration and overhydration happens and athletes actually die each year from both conditions.

Not buying it. No way he could go 12 rounds if it was that bad.

Even Larry Holmes who was ringside that night said that he knew Stiverne was badly dehydrated to the point that he tried telling Stiverne's team to hydrate him. That was live, during the fight, well before it was revealed by Stiverne that the doctor diagnosed him with severe dehydration.

What kind of buffoon drinks soda when training, in camp ? Was he taking water between rounds, surely ? I can't recall.

He's going to get roundly beaten on again, he don't have the dimensions to compete, his counters were ineffective three years ago, he's now in worst shape and looked like shyt in his last fight two years ago, I can't understand this guy only having one fight since in 2015 also, inactivity of two years nearly to the day and be believes he will be competitive ?

If Wilder was to somehow lose this he could potentially go down as one of the worst heavy weight champs ever, after Stiverne of course.

Ok but on the verge of death? Yeah right.
