Depending on how things go, you're likely talking about $100m-$120m for those three fights.
you must be crazy to think conor will make $100-120mil for those 3 fights. LOL.

first of all, a rematch with nate, he'll make about $10mil. same for khabib/ferguson/paulie. these guys are not known or is a draw. it might be good matches against guys like nate and ferguson but like i said, these guys doesnt bring in the money.

if conor is thinking about surpassing floyd, conor need to start fighting guys like canelo, ggg, pac, etc. if he pick 3 top names in boxing right now and go for broke against these guys then he'll make close to $100-120mil for these 3 fights.

only way for him to come close to what floyd has made, he needs to start calling out the top guys in boxing and get it in as much as he can before his act runs out. if he goes back and fight for the ufc, he'll make $10-20mil maxed, and this has to be against top names in the ufc.

I doubt he would be able to do that in the UFC, the marketing, promotion and rankings maintained by one person, Conor would need not only to branch out to achieve that aim but also have majority of the fighters to be on board with him. I have seen a similar adventure shutdown by the UFC people from former fighters, so i doubt Connor would be any different. I hope he pulls it off though.

That joke is played out, and you know it.

Floyd basically walked away with $1billion in boxing earnings (deduct out taxes, camp expenses, and fees paid out to everyone and he's easily cleared $400m in obvious money from boxing), had side money off who knows how much paid to him (secondary market ticket sales, and the outside revenues that usually mailbox to the promoter, among other things), had sharp folks in his corner get him to invest near all of his money (between the annuities, the office spaces and residential properties that he owns, his businesses, and other properties he has his money in, Floyd is leaving his principal alone), still has a name that commands sizable appearance fees, and is basically traveling the world on some of the residuals from his investment (made the splash with the LA home purchase, but he's still either hanging out at the places that he owns or simply traveling around with P-Reala, two bodyguards, and 2-3 of his girls).

Floyd's tax accountant needs to plan to cover that McGregor fight tax bill when it comes due, but the man is still going to be sitting on $400m locked up in investments, with his invested capital easily kicking $30m to $40m to him as his residual on his investments to live on (in a world where Floyd already owns everything that he regularly uses anyway, with the only real expenses being his travel and shopping, with appearances cutting that bill down too).

Floyd is going to be fine (compare that to a guy with eyes on self-financing a presidential run, with a massive tax debt already over his head, without many free cash investments to point to, who may not be so lucky)

Could be. But, in the name of basically Rockefeller-ing things and securing the future for the next 3-4 generations of McGregor's, I don't think that Conor would earnestly be hung up on that for long, tbh.

Come in the sport, fight your ass off, and leave out before the sport has gotten the chance to ruin you.

McGregor and Diaz ended up splitting at least an alleged $30m on their second fight (third fight will be even bigger), a McGregor Sports & Entertainment presents "McGregor vs Malignaggi" will likely end up clearing at least another $40m-$60m (Mayweather-McGregor generated something like $500m on PPV [SHOPPV, UFCFightPass, sho.com, etc], nevermind the international money, the audience enjoyed the fight, and the Showtime crew and the general sports media effectively sold it as McGregor holding his own in boxing), and I earnestly see McGregor being a co-promoter on that last fight, almost regardless of who he fights.

For the next few fights, it's going to be "The Conor McGregor Show", and all he's basically got to do is not get embarrassed in any of the fights, win or lose.

-McGregor vs Diaz 3 is arguably the biggest fight that can be made in MMA, and it's a fight that also will draw interest from the general boxing audience too (Andre Ward vouching for the ability of the Diaz brothers and Mayweather-McGregor being seen in over 4.6 million homes would help that it); 2 million homes isn't out of the question, tbh [how that gets divvied is between Dana and them].

-McGregor vs Malignaggi is a matchup almost designed exclusively for the type of fan that drives the monster PPV events; McGregor is now a recognizable face in boxing, the boxing world knows Paulie and boxing fans respect his skills, Paulie can more than hold his own in the war of words, and there's more than enough actual heat between the two to goose up the interest for All Access. Park the fight in NYC (not a legit enough fight to go to one of the ballparks, but should do monster business at MSG or Barclays Center), let the New York media get involved in the show, and watch the PPV buyer scoop that one up too. 1m homes pretty easily if the hype catches.

-McGregor vs TBD is third fight, will come down to how the first two go, and will likely end up being a co-promotion between Zuffa and McGregor Sports Entertainment. McGregor basically can do 1 million homes against anyone, so the real issue point would be how the back-end money would be split between Zuffa and McGregor's company. I don't know all of the numbers, but I figure you'd be counting down from at least $70m on a Conor McGregor fight.

Beauty of being marketable and having marketable fights
