Every boxing fan wants Wilder v Joshua, but Eddie has done everything possible to downplay the validity of the fight. When you support that BS, you're only supporting Eddie the promoter, not boxing, not the fans.
He's a sleaze promoter just like Aram, Oscar, White, etc.
I wouldn't go as far as saying like Arum, at least he makes his fighters some money.

He's clearly delaying the Wilder fight, which is annoying for those of us who like to see unification and the best fighting the best, but you can understand why he wants to keep milking the cash cow a little bit longer before putting him out to slaughter.

He is right. But now, the trick would be to get Fury in fighting shape again... physically AND mentally. No short order. That will be tough to do. But the reward would likely be another world record set in attendance.

Im a fan of wilder I believe he has tremendous potential but he hasnt proven himself at all unfortunately. His best win is against a fat slob masquerading as a former heavyweight champ stiverne. Fury beat klitschko easily and convincingly while joshua almost got knocked out and was in a close fight until the end. I really believe wilder is a great champion he just needs to prove himself which is hard when his opponents fail drug tests and also his advisor is al mismatch haymon. Fury is still the man to beat at heavyweight in my eyes.

I feel like Boxing should be supporting Wilder more. Screw Ortiz and Povetkin, nothing but cheating juice heads. Stiverne too f him. Hope Beyonce does a proper job on him tomorrow.

Even if AJ does want the Deontay fight Eddie clearly doesn’t. He’s making himself and most importantly AJ look like punks.

I'd agree with Eddie on that.

Wilder is just not known outside Alabama, and while there would be interest in the unification side with Joshua, Fury brings a huge amount of entertainment and higher risk to a Joshua fight.

It would break all records in the UK, easily.

Yawn, Fury is two years out from fighting any meaningful fights.
                Stop trying to duck Wilder

Do you think Stiverne will be competitive in his rematch with Wilder?

I think we all on here are doing a better job of promoting Wilder than his own team, even over here in England (Skysport) are trying to build Wilder up, the problem is they have to do that enough times for them to reap the benefit of what they put in, and at the moment they wouldn't reap any rewards if he and Joshua fights now. This is why Hearn/Skysport are begging Fury to get back in shape, get his licence sorted ASAP. Skysport/hearn are after money fight and am afraid the Wilder fight isn't at the current moment.
