Comments Thread For: Hearn: Joshua-Fury a Way Bigger Fight, Event Than Joshua-Wilder

Promoter Eddie Hearn of Matchroom is practically pleading with former world champion Tyson Fury (25-0, 18 KOs) to get back in the gym and get himself in order for a ring return. Fury has been out of the ring since November 2015, when he shocked the world by traveling over to Germany to unseat Wladimir Klitschko for the IBF, WBA, WBO, IBO world titles. Joshua stopped Klitschko back in April to unify the WBA, IBO, IBF belts.

Hearn is pretty good at fooling people in the uk if they really think Fury can come back and be competitive. The only reason he'll come back is for a last quick paycheck and to put his name on AJs resume so it looks better lol

He’s right it probably is a bigger fight. But it’s not realistic. The clear fight to make is Wilder.

Why dont AJ just give up the belt if Hearn doesn't want to fight Wilder? He can do whateverbhe wants then. It would take a year alone for Fury to get back into shape and he probably would want a tune up. I dont see how that fight is even logical at this point. Wilder is more popular than Takam because you have to be popular to fight AJ lmao. He could have just fought Wilder in December instead of Takam.
