how come they're having such a hard time building new stars since pac and floyd left?

How many tickets would AJ sell at Cowboys Stadium?

Canelo sold out (the seats available) Cowboys Stadium, Minute Maid Park and the Alamodome, all foreign stadiums. I'm sure he can also sell 90K in his home country.

Can AJ sell in a foreign stadium? If he came to the States, or anywhere else, would he sell as much?

Until AJ can prove he's a draw outside his country, then he can be called boxing's biggest draw.

Because Canelo and GGG aren't that good
Pacquiao was a flyweight turnt elite WW, knocking out HOFs like Morales and Barrera
      Floyd is Floyd
GGG seems to struggle with anyone who has a pulse and skill, and Canelo arguably lost to Lara, lost to FM easily despite being supposedly and younger

Because there is no "they." Superstars aren't made, they're born.

Boxing has had lulls before, relax.

Canelo did pretty good but for stars to be made the best have to fight the best. You have many Champs fighting bums you have Wilder has he fought a top 10 fighter other than Stiverne who I think was never a top 10 because he won a vacant tile against Fatso Arreola . Thurman vs Spence needs to be made to get a star from that fight

why prove anything when you are making money at home, no need to leave home if you can pull them numbers...people should be going to England to fight him for as long as he keeps putting up numbers like that. No need to hit up the MGM arena with its 17,000 seating capacity....these are facts he has done it multiple times....until Canelo or any other fighter does it it's nothing but talk.... Why leave home when you pulling them numbers and world re-known

AJ could certainly become bigger than may and pac.
AJ is not the biggest star in the sport. He might be the biggest in the UK, but that isn't saying much when the UK only has around 20 million more people living their than California. AJ wouldn't be selling out any of the arenas in the US and he could walk down the street and nobody would know who he was.

all of you dudes miss the bigger point everytime...

guys like ali, both sugar rays, oscar, even floyd, had charisma....and thats a thing whereas, either you have it, or you don't....go back to some of oscar's fights and peep out how the stadium was filled with bad azz women...

a lot of these guys right now are good boxers, a lot of 'em will do well, but every so often do you get that rare fighter who has that "it" factor...

most of these guys just don't have it, but they will do well in boxing, they will live better than the average joe if they manage themselves properly...

Exactly my point. He can't pull those numbers anywhere else except the UK. The terrible Showtime numbers just proved it.

Being huge in the UK does not equate him being the biggest star in the sport.

You don't think Canelo v GGG could fill a stadium in Texas or California?

I think Mayweather v Pac definitely could of.
