So your trying to tell me, a guy like AJ or Wilder is faster, has more agility, more stamina, better conditioning, better balance, better reactions, better reflexes etc than a guy like Crawford, Loma or Inoue etc. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA 😭😭😭
Heavyweight's are stronger and more explosive but are NOT the best athletes anyone with a brain cell can comprehend that!

I'd respect the lower divisions more if you couldn't be a 9 time weight division champion by gaining 30 pounds. Thats mfing insanity. I think there is TOO MUCH lean towards smaller boxers actually not snobbery about them.

I mean look at how many active boxers Boxrec lists in each division as of today (& listing the womans list for sh^ts & giggles).

        Male Boxers

        200+lbs: 1,231 boxers
        200lbs: 1,225 boxers
        175lbs: 1,117 boxers
        168lbs: 1,366 boxers
        160lbs: 1,509 boxers
        154lbs: 1,853 boxers
        147lbs: 2,156 boxers
        140lbs: 2,010 boxers
        135lbs: 1,989 boxers
        130lbs: 1,429 boxers
        126lbs: 1,466 boxers
        122lbs: 1,258 boxers
        118lbs: 1,033 boxers
        115lbs: 692 boxers
        112lbs: 779 boxers
        108lbs: 468 boxers
        105lbs: 276 boxers

        Female Boxers

        200+lbs: 29 boxers
        200lbs: 2 boxers
        175lbs: 0 boxers
        168lbs: 23 boxers
        160lbs: 32 boxers
        154lbs: 47 boxers
        147lbs: 72 boxers
        140lbs: 81 boxers
        135lbs: 123 boxers
        130lbs: 118 boxers
        126lbs: 128 boxers
        122lbs: 120 boxers
        118lbs: 132 boxers
        115lbs: 124 boxers
        112lbs: 174 boxers
        108lbs: 112 boxers
        105lbs: 124 boxers
If that doesn't suggest that some of the lil guy divisions don't need to be consolidated (& some big girl divisions) idk what does.

The 5 least populated divisions happen to be the 5 lowest weight divisions. And the lowest 4 divisions combined have less fighters than the most populated division 147lbs.

And wtf at less than 300 guys being 105lbers. When a division has about 4x less fighters than most divisions that shouldn't be a division at all for sure.

108, 115, 122, 154 and CW. Seriously, get rid of CW and make LHW 185.

I think it's a case of quality over quantity in many respects. I get what your saying in terms of the small weight differences but it's relative to their size, For me weight division's are defined by the quality at the top of them not the quantity in them, 105 isn't all that strong atm but 108, 112 and especially 115 -are fantastic atm. The top 10 at 115 is the strongest in boxing IMO.

So again, you're saying the better athletes are the ones that would lose.

An athlete is somebody proficient in sport. Anthony Joshua and Deontay Wilder are the best at the sport of boxing. They are the ones that would beat the other boxers. They are so good at boxing that to make things more fair, other boxers are allowed to compete separately, among themselves, because they wouldn't even stand a chance against the best boxers.

So what would happen to the fighters from the removed division? You're always gonna have fighters over 200 lbs.

The heavyweight division is the ultimate weight division. The best heavyweight in the world is the best boxer in the world head to head, period!

Either 112, 115 or 118. But not all 3. You could easily consolidate these 3 divisions into 2 divisions.

HW is necessary. If anything I'd remove one like above and add a Super HW.
