Whyte isn't Wilder's mandatory. The WBC has already said after Bermane Wilder (or Bermane if he wins) won't have a mandatory fight for a year.



Does anyone believe anyone is ducking Whyte?

There must be something in the curvature of the earth in the UK that makes this guy just seem like a fierce bad mfer or something cuz this guy has fringe contender written all over him to me. He doesn't suck or anything, but if he is a future title holder that means some other title holder got caught slipping or Hearn or a future promoter bought him a vacant title or something more than anything else.

How can Hearn guarantee that Wilder will fight Joshua next?

There are two fights - Wilder vs Whyte and Joshua vs X (most likely Parker) and the plan is the winners of those fights to face each other in the summer for title unification. There is no guarantee that both Wilder and Joshua will win. What if Whyte wins? Or what happens if Wilder wins and Joshua loses? Then we have a fight between Wilder and X/Parker that does not include Hearn at all.

And then there is the issue with purse and venue negotiations for 4 possible fights. Nobody can guarantee anything.

It amazes me as well, this is glaringly obvious. Being from the UK, I am ashsamed of some of these Hearn/Matchroom fanboys. I almost feel sorry for them, they are so brainwashed and deluded by this Sky/Hearn/Matchroom propaganda.
