Povetkin takes out Duhaupas quicker than Wilder and takes out Takam quicker than AJ did. Props to his dealer.

That fight was dead even until the stoppage and Takam rocked Povetkin.

Povetkin is already 38, maybe a few years ago he'd have stood a chance but nah I don't see it.

        That fight could happen.

I read that Povetkin could become Parker's mandatory if/when he beats Hammer. I think he beats Parker too and then he will be the champ. So who knows, that could end up a unification fight.

Depends how good Povetkin is right now. He is approaching 40.

Povetkin was a betting favourite to beat wilder for a reason, he was/is one of the top heavyweights, yes hes old and small but he's out of the picture now in the eyes of most boxing fan's after the failed tests.

Mostly because hes a ruskie though, the drug he was on was legal and linked to endurance.

Someone like Ray Beltran who took anabolic Steroids (far worse in terms of anything Povetkin got caught with) is getting a title shot in january and the thread with that news did not contain a single fan condemning him.
Look in a Povetkin thread and every single post condemns him. double standards.

              Povetkin is the scariest HW.

He also fought a better version of Takem and not a old 2 week notice Takem.

He was bringing the fight to Joshua and landed several shots on him. "Trying to survive" is what Scott did against Ortiz. Takam was a game fighter and fought to win against Joshua.

I don't care if he did steroids. Joshua and Wilder are clearly on PEDs. The only problem is that the Eastern Europeans are deliberately targeted by these anti-doping agencies so Povetkin got caught. Cubans are targeted too that's why Ortiz got busted as well. Joshua and Wilder are protected and can't fail a test, just like other American and British athletes.

Povetkin is the best HW out there, everyone is scared to fight him. Klitschko was the only top HW who had the balls to go to Russia and fight him. Also Marco Huck. Protected fighters like Wilder and Joshua don't want to test themselves against the best.
