They just completely omit that from their thought process. That's okay...

Soon it will be all over for the guy from Alabama. He will cash out and be happy after he realizes that AJ has defeated him by this time next year.

      Thoughts ? lol
Social media allows one to read functionally...which is a way of saying any subtlety, any points that need careful analysis are disregarded. It is criminal... Remember books? Those things we came up on...well Rod Sterling says it better than I.

Lol yes that logic is twisted. We just need these guys to fight each other so all this overanalysis can cease. The Takam fight alas does not demonstrate anything and is simply a body. Ortiz had some interesting potential because of his punch, but no, one cannot say a performance against Takam tells one anything about Ortiz.

There is a certain pattern with the Cuban heavyweights...and I happen to be partial to them because even though they fight in a style that is more akin to Amateur, they have great skill sets and seem able to adjust very well... I really wanted Solis to succeed, Ortiz, and actually virtually all the guys seem to have skills...

BUt they are older, even by heavyweight standards, they don't seem able to discipline themselves and make it work, though Ortiz might have a legitimate gripe about the meds...I don't know. Its like they come here with the skills, but something is lacking. Something that prevents them from grinding it out and putting it all together in a complete package.

Odinare broke my heart...he got to the point where he got Vitali and was even looking good, then his knee blows out, Ortiz and the meds...its always something that seems to prevent these guys from going all the way. It dates back to when Bowe fought Gonzalez... a big talker with a decent repretoire who decides to go lilly liver and let Bowe pound him out...

I don't know how Ortiz would have done. I think we will be lucky if we see him fight again at a high level. I hope we do.

Unlike Wilder who looks like a superstar every time against stellar opposition?

Never seen him looking this bad, even against Wlad he was much better.

I could easily tell this even before the fight just by AJ's shape, he was in worst shape ever. He just got fat...

                Anyway props to Takam!

AJ needs to improve a lot to beat Wilder & even Parker... Yes, Parker.
I thought he looked good physically, more slender and looser than usual. The nose injury probably obstructed his breathing. There was more finesse to his game last night, more fluid. Less stiff.

                  Why should you...ya'll can't fight
I never said AJ shouldnt fight Wilder but knowing Wilder, he is going to put up as many road blocks as possible. If he gets through Stiverne, which he should, then its fine, he can shut up, take whatever money he is offered and finally headline a major even against the superior fighter...and get ktfo in the process.

I'm all for that, in the mean time, I'm fine with AJ v Takam 2.

They both have great power and mediocre chins but with Wilder throwing so many more punches he has a better chance to land a fight ending bomb first.
WTF are you talking about? Joshua threw over 45 punches a round. That is above the heavyweight average, and if you consider the heat on most of his punches, there is nothing wrong with his output. Joshua threw 450 punches through 10 1/2 rounds, Wilder threw 620 punches against Stiverne over 12 rounds.

There are literally no facts to support your argument.
