Thing is, Takam has always been tough and he is quick for a 36 yo. AJ having to adjust to fighting a much smaller, faster, tougher opponent was always going to be difficult. But even bigger props for Takam being a genuine pro, keepin in shape year round and being ready in 12 rounds.

Bring on the rematch I say.
Another so-called fight fan that doesn't want to see AJ vs Wilder.

You don't know **** about boxing...

      Why should you...ya'll can't fight

In this fight, he was made to look bad by an excellent elite boxer in Carlos Takam. This is what happens when boxers step up in competition.

He looked significantly slower with his punches tonight. I appreciate Takam's movement stopped him putting shots together a lot of the time, but he just looked more sluggish in general. He's usually super sharp with his shots, fast and accurate for a guy of his size but it just didn't seem to be there at all.

If he looks this slow v Wilder, i think Wilder might put his lights out. Wilder's right hand comes fast and he seems to find a way to land it at some point.

I see people talking about Vlad.

I wish Vlad would return and shoot one against Wilder.

I also fell like Red, they don't really impress me, Wilder and Aj, but I will root for AJ if they ever fight.

Red Fox is right: This crop needs a day of reckonin' Povatkin definitely has more skills and by the way so does Whyte who hurt his shoulder that fight against AJ.

We need a tourney to let these guys pummel each other until one emerges that can at least work against better competition. None of these guys look like they can put it all together and be a dominant heavyweight for the next few years.
