was the mandated split more than the 1.5mil low-ball they offered him the first time around?

You really do have a crazy compulsive need to convince everybody that GGG ducked Canelo and Miguel Cotto .. Miguel Cotto .. at 154lbs.

It's sad mate, honestly. Just leave it alone and move on ffs.

              1) Golovkin totally refused to negotiate on weight with Cotto

              2) Golovkin then stated that he is willing and able to fight at 154, and would be happy to do so..... if only those cowardly JMW's would step up to the plate.....

..... oh, did I mention that was immediately after refusing to negotiate on weight with Cotto and Canelo? LOL

you can spin that however you like

btw, to an honest/knowledgeable poster, point #1 would have been sufficient

Mr " anyone from 154-168 " totally refusing to negotiate on weight with the little old faded SUPERSTAR Miguel Cotto..... is the 2nd most bizarre occurrence within boxing that I have witnessed within the last decade

I cannot believe how little was spoken about that situation, both from the media and from the fans..... totally bizarre..... every other fighter from 140-160 would have cut off one of his fingers for that fight, and yet Golovkin would not so much as lift his little finger to make that fight, totally refusing to drop a single pound to fight the 153lb superstar

then later, Golovkin threw up his hands in frustration and claimed that nobody at 154 was willing to fight him..... WTF?????

Oh yeah of course GGG wants to fight a guy who fought and stop a high ranked fighter in N'dam than a guy who fought a cripple and didn't knock him out.

Stop spreading this lie man. Cotto wanted **** all to do with GGG. He came up to GGG's weight class. He bribed GGG so that he could fight someone else and then ran away once he lost the belt. He is going to spend the last 2 years of his career fighting Kamegai and Sadam ****ing Ali. That's not the resume of someone who is interested in a real goddamn fight that's the resume of someone who is looking to cash out with the easiest opposition he can.

He never wanted GGG. Stop pretending otherwise. GGG got the fight with the PPV guy who was interested in the fight. Celebrate that and the fact that it was a pretty good fight rather than rehash this nonsense. Cotto wanted nothing to do with GGG. He would have gotten crushed. He didn't have the reach or the foot speed to keep GGG away or the power to earn his respect.
