what you clearly don't understand, is that Golovkin is likely the most well-managed fighter in the game today..... they are ALL about risk/reward..... they have taken no risks whatsoever with Golovkin, who will only take fights on his terms..... even when dealing with SUPERSTARS

in this video..... Golovkin stated that he is willing and able to fight at 154, then he threw up his hands in frustration and claimed that nobody at 154 was willing to fight him..... the problem is, he said that BULLSHHT immediately after refusing to negotiate on weight with Cotto/Canelo

Great post, man. I've definitely been in the camp of "it's a duck if a fighter avoids my guy," but "it's ok if my guy does it- business decision."

Ultimately, it's a business and these guys need to get paid. They're the ones who have to put food on the table and treat their CTE later in life. Pleasing the fans (customers) is one thing, but how many of us sacrifice huge amounts of cash/salary to please someone else? I know, not the best comparison, but there's an element of truth to that.

I really wish GGG never made that 154-168 claim. Ugh.

look, Golovkin can fight whoever he likes..... I couldn't give a shht, it makes no difference to me..... his legacy will be examined in hindsight, just like everyone else.....
