Pretty much anything outside of excessive running and excessive clinching I can enjoy. Not a fan of foul fests either.

Pure boxer vs. pure boxer example Toney-McCallum is a dream
Aggressive boxer vs. aggressive boxer like Morales and Barrera is a dream
Contrasting style of pure boxer vs. aggressive action guy like Marquez-Pacquaio
Brawler vs. brawler can be fun
All kinds of matches are fine unless it's clinching, fouling and/or running.

it's all about matchmaking and styles

      even fights
      proper styles
in fighters primes or in the right parts of their careers for parody
      and for high stakes

not as easy as it sounds.

ideally these conditions create fights where the outcome is not known, the manner in which the fight will take is not easily anticipated.

and of course, there's no drama in sport like watching both fighters who are capable of hurting and do hurt each other. that's really waht separates boxing from other sports.

The foul fests are bad but the running really gets on my nerves. Actually it makes me get drowsy. Ha. Guys like Erislandy Lara and Herol Graham just suck the air right out of the fight. It's so boring.

Yeah, Lara I just haven't taken to. The worst styles for me are Ward and Ruiz. Way too much holding and fouling for my liking. Also always had a hard time watching Gainer and Hatton (Tszyu fight and beyond).

Ward was terrible no doubt. Ruiz man. He could put a meth head to sleep at the start of a binge.

Gainer just got a push from Roy Jones. Without that, I don't think he would have made it as far as he did.

Hatton never was that exciting to me either. His fight with Tszyu was very frustrating to watch. Tszyu was almost always fun to watch for me, except for that fight and a couple of others.

Technical fights were both fighters are doing enough to make me think a KO may come are fine, but ultimately I DONT appreciate the oh so fine art of pugilism and drool over Ward's inside fighting. I watch boxing purely for entertainment. If the action hasn't picked up by round 5 I switch off the TV and go have a nice wank.

I think Ward has fans who simply want him to win at all costs. They're most likely watching their iPhones during his fights anyway. Then they come on here and claim those of us who like to watch fights that we can't see how good he is.

The Fight of the Year award, a documentary on the fight and the fact that it landed Gatti and Ward on the cover of Fight Night while so many more accomplished fighters could have been on there all adds up to it being a classic. Round nine was one of the best rounds ever.

You may call yourself a boxing fan, but I'm having serious doubts about that, man.

Barrera vs Morales was a much better trilogy. Fighters IN THEIR PRIME, not some washed up Gatti getting his shít pushed in by a C-Level bum. Mickey Ward was a BUM. Nothing you can say will change that.

I don't care who said it was fight of the year or of they made a fictitious movie about Ward, cover of a game, or whatever. Truth is this: Gatti was B-Level at best, washed up, and a C-Level came along at his worst and they bashed each others brains in.

                      I find that sad.

How humiliating it must have been for Gatti to have to endure such an asś kicking by some C-Level scrub.

Morales vs Barerra, those are the fights you should give a fùck about. Morales was arguably the best ever at that weight. Used to jack Mayweather up in sparring, LEGEND. Not lower tiers.

You're a fan of VIOLENCE, not Boxing.
