What do You Look FOR in a BOXING MATCH?

Do you look for boxing expertise, skill, action, brawls or what?

I myself, look for a fight.

Until somebody gets rattled or truly tested beyond what they have been before, my excitement level just doesn't increase. I love a war.

    What about you?

What do you want to see in a boxing match, entertainment wise?

Everyone loves a good fight. However, I do like the technical aspect of a fight. I do look to see how boxers react to punches they're taking. I remember watching Jacobs vs Pirog and from the start I didn't like how Jacobs was reacting to the punches. I look to see if a boxer is getting hit by the same punch repeatedly. I also look at foot work and seeing how punches are getting set up.

I’ll try to compare fights to movies. One usually has a preference; action, drama what have you. There are fighters that are like action movies, the Tyson’s and margaritos of the world. I myself prefer suspense movies which to me would be like a rigo or mayweather. When I watch those type guys I’m on the edge of my seat wondering what’s going to come next. Of course I like some action, but for the most part I don’t need all the explosions and flying cars to think it’s a good movie. I prefer a well written plot.

The onl way to watch a fight. You have the fighters eye. A lot of people don’t even know certain things are happening in a fight

Everything. As long as you don't back pedal the whole fight while throwing NO punches.

            Unlike you, I like skill.

Gatti vs Ward were terible fights. A C-Level that got lucky against a failing B-Level fighter and they bashed each others brains in.

I don't have a preference. I can appreciate any kind of fight and fighter. I enjoy fights the most when the men are evenly matched.

Yeah. The low action fights are terrible.

So your preference would be skill and no balls.

                  I see.

i like fighters coming forward, trading big shots and looking to do damage. its a combat sport not tag and run. if people like that tippy tappy running away **** so much, they can watch the amateurs.
