I don't hate that fight for Joshua's US debut.
Actually, looking at the rankings, thats probably the 2nd most appealing fight, besides Wilder, for an American opponent for Joshua. And Big Baby ain't going anywhere so that should be a fun fight to watch as well.Comment

Ross Purrity beat a prime Vlad....was that "amazing"Wilder's resume isn't bad at all.... Stiverne was a real champion...... Wilder beat a real champion for his belt!!!!
Joshua's best win was Klitschko, which is amazing, but he didn't even beat a real champion for his belts. Fury beat a real champion for his belt and was stripped.

It's obvious that in order to make the Joshua vs Wilder fight as big as possible they want to further introduce Wilder to the British audience and Joshua to the American audience first. Hearn wants a Lewis vs Tyson type mega-fight, which it obviously would not be with only two or three months of promotion behind itComment
