Ross Purrity beat a prime Vlad....was that "amazing"
It was an upset so yeah, it was amazing.
But that was pre Manny Steward Wlad, before he became a world champ, and Puritty had been KO'd and beaten multiple times himself, so everybody saw it as Wlad getting exposed, rather than Puritty being a world beater.
It's obvious that in order to make the Joshua vs Wilder fight as big as possible they want to further introduce Wilder to the British audience and Joshua to the American audience first. Hearn wants a Lewis vs Tyson type mega-fight, which it obviously would not be with only two or three months of promotion behind it
