And let's be real Bob hasn't created a guy as big as Conor ever one could easily argue. I mean most of his biggest names did there best work without him or he only partially got them where they went. Conor did 4mill ppv buys in a sport he had never competed in professionally and had a ton of mfers thinking he could win. Arum is great at creating delusion with his fighters along with finding highly skilled and talented mfers, but he never orchestrated something like Conor.
lol I hate bob but remind me who has the PPV and gate records? PACQUIAO

Yea I can't argue with this. Selling a non-American Asian guy has a much more harder degree of difficulty than selling a white guy in the US so yea I'd have to give Arum big points for that being that.

I believe only Manny and Lewis have previously become big in boxing as non-US and non-hispanic fighters.

I don't think Arum has ruined the sport or tried to ruin the sport. All the great lower class fights from the 80's were Top Rank. Hagler.Hearns, Hagler.Leonard, Hearns.Leonard, etc.

Arum is evil because he likes to protect and control his investments. He fixes fights, that's bad but don't know about ruin.

If one company ran boxing it would be just like UFC. You need competing promoters. I think it's pretty obvious. If Roc Nation didn't lose money on Ward, we never would have gotten Ward.Kovaquit. Plus, Boxing is a global sport with global venues, you can't control that with one body. If you thought corruption was bad now with independents running about, bro --- it would be super corrupt with one body.

King wasn't as bad as the media says he was. A friend of mine knows a former King fighter and he loves Don. Nothing but the best words:he put food on my table, got me fights, got me good paydays.

King was evil because he stole from the big guys, but he had a lot of the smaller guys making good money for their level that didn't get robbed. You don't rob the convenience store, but rather a bank right? Tyson got robbed by King and we hate King for it, that's fine. But at the end of the day, King arranged GREAT fights to watch.

King nor Arum ruined the sport. They might have ruined a few fighters and fixed some fights, but hey --- c'est la vie.

In his own sport. Tell me more about Manny's basketball career for a real comparison to the mainstream appeal Conor has reached and to the point of what I'm discussing.

I guarantee he won't be. He made a hundred million in his mid 20's in one night. Floyd and Manny wouldn't have stuck around so long if they'd have made that much that soon either.

Hell I'd argue anyone with a $10m+ bank account should retire. This sport is f#cking dangerous and damages even the best athletes in the sport.

                August 26th ruined the UFC.

You can't claim you're the premiere combat sport when your top guy gets beat by a 41 y/o retiree.

Well Conor can't draw in his own sport as much as manny can lol so that's a bad argument if pacquiao or any big boxing star would go to the octagon people would buy it because it's intriguing just like they did with may mac

Tell me about the records James Toney has in the UFC.

Manny was big in his day. It's crazy how big he is in boxing for a Asian, non-US citizen in the US, but Conor has reached more mainstream appeal and he did it much quicker.

Conor has bigger PPV numbers fight for fight than anyone except Tyson I believe. Manny, Floyd and even Oscar had to grow into big PPV numbers. Tyson and Conor had big numbers out of the gate.
