Whyte gets less views and sells less tickets in his own country than Wilder. Hearn and his fans need to quit pushing this bs fight and lets get to the real fight. You didn't hear Loma and Rigo talking about a build up... they just simply made the fight.

It's different for rematch clauses as the split and certain terms of that rematch would be agreed upon, while NONE have been agreed in this case.

What if they can't agree terms and they're stuck in negotiation limbo for 6 months unable to agree the split and TV money etc etc
It has been done. FMJ and Judah signed a contract b4 Judah lost to Baldomir.

Too much money to be made to be stuck in negotiations. It can and should be done if Hearn is serious about the fight AND hard over to have Wilder fight Whyte.

So let me get this straight, for a bunch of you in here, building up the fight is more important than the actual fight?

Wilder is ducking because he's pushing for an AJ fight as soon as possible?

Hearn is the hero because he's creating road blocks to push the fight out as far as he can?

Seems like AJ fans would rather (prefer) he fight Tyson Fury.

You people are not boxing fans.

                Neither guy is ducking....

The fight needs more time to simmer... Both guys should fight abroad to raise their profiles!

Wilder vs Whyte would sell out in the UK. Wilder's first sell out crowd! Deontay could produce a spectacular knock out.

Joshua vs Miller in New York would be a big event. Maybe a sell out. Joshua could benefit from a profile boost here. A great knock out would do that.

This fight should be the biggest fight in boxing... Bigger than Canelo vs GGG but right now it isn't!! Let's give it time!

Yup he's scared of Whyte and simply wants that Joshua payday. Hearn has already said he will get the AJ fight if he beats Whyte but the fact that Wilder wants a guaranteed AJ fight (win, lose or draw) says it all.

Let's see how this plays out, after he beats stiverne again. The promoter of the A-side has laid out the terms, if Wilder wants Joshua he has to go through Whyte, if that helps Hearn sell more PPV (Joshua/Wilder) then thats the route Wilder has to go through. It's not like he is the A-side or has a resume to back up his worth.

And he has to beat Whyte, he cannot get that fight unless he beat whyte, thats the whole reason for him fighting whyte in the first place, beat whyte (Joshua enemy) in front of the british public.

aj is their last their last superstar in boxing and they're just protecting him from wilder for as long as they can. i've never seen so many so called boxing fans scared of a unification fight. they'd rather be aj's financial advisers and promoters.
