    Again, this is very simple.

If the rubbermatch was already agreed to before the 2nd fight pending a Corrales loss, then very little blame falls on Castillo...unless you are in his head and no for a fact that he could make weight and chose not to.

If Castillo agreed to the 3rd fight after he KO'd Corrales, then yes, you can blame Castillo for signing a contract for a weight he did not belong at.

ferocity, your logic is really ****ed up. you keep pushing in threads similar to this that chico should have man up and took the fight and it's partly his fault.

damn, what kind of thinking is that? why throw the ball to chico and OBLIGED him to take the fight, and blame him if he didnt??? when all along he did his part of the bargain? its castillo who failed his part, TWICE!

god, you're such a stubborn illogical tard. castillo's nuts are up into your eyes you're so blinded.

Let me just clarify something... I do think Diego Corrales did the right thing in not taking the fight. The article has nothing to do with that aspect of the situation.

But the thing is he HAD to know he wasn't gonna make weight the last week at the very latest and probably much sooner since he was SO far off from 135lbs. He should've contacted Corrales or Bob Arum so that Corrales would've been able to make an informed decission. Corrales could've said "Sure I'll fight you at 139lbs" or Corrales could've said no I wont fight you and the fight would've been called off a long time ago.

Even if Corrales said NO, atleast Bob Arum loses less money on promotions, Fans wont lose money on tickets, airfare and hotels.

Or best fan scenario would've been that both Corrales and Castillo come in at 139 1/2 and they still fight. But they would atleast be on an even playing field.

To anyone who blames Corrales for not fighting Castillo is ******ED.

Perhaps Castillo thought he'd make weight. Either way, by that time Arum would have already lost plenty of money and most of the tickets were bought.

how long are we going to debate this issue

castillo signed to fight at 135

he couldn't make the weight, he needs to move up in class

corrales didn't fight him- he made his decision

maybe we'll see corrales v freitas, or baby bull now

                    **** maybe we'll see castillo v margarito

                    regardless it's over

                    move on

                    drink a beer
